Exogenous testosterone shuts the HPTA down in 2-3 weeks, depending on the dose.

Other androgens, such as, Deca and Tren will cause more rapid HPTA inhibition/shutdown, in a matter or days or a week.

I thought it was the ester in the compound that determined the absorption rate. Test prop is about 3 days and Test E is about 2 - 3 weeks. Same goes for esters that are blended with deca or tren. Am I off?

He said he was using proprionate and acetate both very short esters. Both would reach peak blood levels quickly, however the Tren would still cause shutdown quicker or did I miss something (which would not be that unusual).

Guys, he doesn't actually mean shutdown. He is asking how soon he will feel the crash from coming off those 2 AAS.
This is determined by the ester, so you'll start feeling pretty shitty 4-5 days after your last shot of prop, which is when your test levels will drop below baseline. The Tren is irrelevant, since you should make sure that you come off the test last.

Your right after reading it again.

The answer is when TT starts to decline or is below baseline values.
