How long does it take for Clomid to have an effect?
My endocrinologist has switched me from testosterone gel to clomid as per my request. I did a taper off the testosterone. How long does it take for clomid to start kicking in?
I'm taking 50 mg three times per week.

From my experience, it did take about 2 weeks to notice the effect. That time I did 50mg ED.
If you are taking 50mg 3 times per week, it will take longer to kick in.

Why did you switch from test gel to Clomid???
I do 50mg/day for PCT. 100mg works even better, but it gives me side effects. Oh, and though SERMs have a half-life of around a week, they begin to act almost immediately.
I had side effects from the first or second day from 100mg of Clomid.

Switched from T to Clomid in order to try to jumpstart the pituitary into producing sufficient LH and FSH. I also personally like the idea of keeping the testicles alive and working if possible.
I haven't noticed any side effects. All of the literature I've seen for studies also hasn't mentioned side effects. That being said, we aren't talking about comprehension FDA trials but academic studies.

I just had crazy dreams and blew bigger loads from 100mg of clomid.
