Help?
I'm 29 and currently 5'10" @ 185, which for me is underweight. At my highest point I was 210 with solid, not lean muscle. About 2 yrs ago, though, I tore both my rotator cuff and ACL. Because of that, I hadn't been lifting. I kept my workout to minimum (no weightlifting), and I actually got lean because I was mostly doing aerobics (i.e. treadmill) and rehab (i.e. yoga). After that, I fell into a slump and just couldn’t get back to lifting, even after my injuries were healed.
I'm looking to get my muscle mass back now, and am looking to AAS for the first time. I'm looking to do 4 consecutive cycles of sus250 only (my guy is getting it from Slovakia). Each cycle will be 6 weeks, with 250mg every week. I know a lot of you will suggest upping the dosage, or switching to a different type of AAS, but I’ve already done my research and know full well the risks and benefits of each. Besides, I don’t want my gains to depend too much on the AAS. What I need to know is: what is the ideal waiting period between each cycle, and what should my PCT cycle look like (I only have nolvadex )?

What's your body fat?
Typically you'd wait time on + pct = time off.
I don't like you cycle idea at all.
Read the PCT stickies for your PCT then get back to us with questions.

My BMI is 26.5; I'm not going to be using PCT while on. I want to know when to use nolvadex and how much during the post-cycles. What exactly don't you like about my cycle idea?

Hey....want to enter a challenge that starts in January? goes for 12 weeks. All you have to do is announce you want to join in and you will get a personal trainer for training and diet and everything is thru PM's. This might be a great way to take it to the next level...sounds like you could be a perfect candidate since the winners will be based on before and after photos depending on the goal.....hope to see your name on the list!

BMI=body mass index. Extremley inaccurate, and really only still used by the military. Post up some pics and we'll tell you you're true bodyfat. You're idea of cycling is extremley off! Take some time to read though these threads. Being at a higher bodyfat percentage you're going to be more suspect to estrogen related side effects. D7M told you what the general rule is for time off between cycles. You obviously have no clue how AAS is going to affect your body.
Normally i wouldn't spoonfeed anyone like this but I'm going to make an exception tonight. When you cycle and inject test into your body you're body has a feedback system that signals your testes to stop producing natural test. You don't notice this really other than the onset of hypogonadism (shrunken balls) because you're body has more test than it would produce naturally anyway. Now when you stop injecting exogenous testosterone your body should start back up right? Well not exactly, it can take a long time for your body to come back to its normal production levels. The purpose of PCT is to help trick the body's feedback loop into producing testosterone again naturally faster than it normally would do so. Read more on PCT in the PCT forum under swifto's PCT Q&A thread. 4-5 weeks is a pretty standard PCT for a 8-14 week cycle.
So why not just stay on test for 24 weeks or longer then run PCT when you're ready? Well there are several reasons. After a certain amount of time on AAS your body desensitizes to the high level of test and your gains slow to a crawl. Also the longer your body's natural testosterone production is shut down the harder it is to restart it. Some people find out the hard way after rediculously long cycles of exogenous test that they've damaged thier bodys HTPA, (the part of your brain responsible for turning your testes back on) so they end up being forced to be on TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) for the rest of thier life. Which as much as you might enjoy your cycle you won't enjoy being dependent on shots so you can have an erection, and dont' have the test levels of a 6 year old girl.
Hope that this has shed a little light on what it means to "Cycle" AAS, and the risks involved and why your idea isn't a good one. Read up on examples of beginner test cycles.
