    hcg and weight loss

Someone brought this up the other day. Said a friend was on the hcg diet and losing all kinds of weight. I was like hcg??? Sure enough i google it and it seems to be the new diet. Does anyone have any experience with this or anyone knoow the logic behind it? Seems they cut calories and take hcg and loose LOTS of weight.

first its not regular HCG like we use for pct. But that being said the intent is the body will mimick a pregnancy that along with a very low calorie diet (500) a day will trigger the body to process fat for energy. My wife did it a year ago and lost about 15 lbs in 28 days but i honestly believe it was the diet not the HCG and by the way her weight has stayed off.

Oh i assume it was the hcg bb's use. I'll do more research on it. I was just curious because I had never heard of it mentioned here or anyone complaining of weigh loss while taking it. Thanks for clearing that up.

From what I have heard it does work. But I was under the impression the hcg being mentioned was the hcg we use. Apparently it isnt? Anyone else have any input on this?

No it's a scam. People lost weight because the recommendation was to combine it with a 500 cal/day diet. No shit you're going to lose weight lol.

i brought this up a while ago i have some relitives that ahve done it and its being advertised like crazy in that city... form my understanding it supperssed there appittie and made them only want to eat 500 cal/day... or thats what they told me atleast. As for my uncle who did the diet (he used to be a defensive takel in the NFL back in the 70's) who is a HUGE guy he lost like 60pounds while on it but gained it all back when he got off i assume because his diet went back to they way it was befor.
