Can your body get use to test?

I'm on my third cycle of 500mg test e per week. And 40mg dbol to kick first 4 weeks. This cycle I'm on the same thing but I've only gained about 8 lbs and I'm in my seventh week. I've never gained so little. Can my body be use to this amount of test? My diet is the same, not serious bb diet but I watch what I eat and take in plenty of protein with at least 3500 calories a day. I mean I've seen improvement on this cycle but nothing to what I usually see. Any thoughts???

    Stats: 180 lbs (started@ 172), 25 yrs old, 13-19% bf.

Hmmm.... I want to think I remember something along the lines of stacking after the first cycle because gains will not be as significant. unfortunately I do not recall the source to verify the credibility. I always stack 2 compounds, and are you eating enough calories? if you say yes... are you sure?

Of course you will stop responding well to a certain dose of test, provided that you have outgrown it and need a higher dose to keep adding more muscle (because you now have more ARs and muscle mass to support).
However, it sounds like your problem is just that you aren't eating enough and training correctly, since you're still smaller than a lot of guys are before they start cycling, and hence well within your genetic potential (unless you're just short).

Yeah I'm 5'8". Hmmm. Ok that gives me a lot to think about. I should just try eating more then? Ok. Cause my diet has been the same with all cycles and my work out routine is pretty good. I lift until I'm dead just like anyone else. And that's what I was thinking, that I might need to up the test. So I'll keep that in mind for my next cycle....

Just like any other drug, your body grows resilient to it thus you must increase dosage. But it sounds like you can probably fix this prob by just increasing your calories. Try taking in 500 more calories and see what happens before you increase dosage.

have you done this exact same cycle before ??some tests and products hits people diff, and if you did then you need to up the mg alittle.... youll see a diff or at least feel it, try 600 or 700 mg, throw some deca in the mix, and eat 250-500 more clean calories...

You need to try to add at least 500 calories, but try for 1000. That seems really low, but you are 5-8....I'm 5-10 ~200lbs and I shoot for 5000 cals, hit 7000 yesterday, and recent bf % tests have me between 6% and 10%, although I think those readings seem low. I'm clean, btw, about 800 days.

I thought I was eating enough until I really did the math and logged everything I ate. Guess what? I wasn't. So I went for 4k/cal a day goal. Significantly more than before, when I thought I WAS eating enough. Made me full all the time, even when spread over 5+ meals a day. I was working out at 5am, and wasn't full, but the rest of the day, more or less I was eating. It becomes a real chore!
