Dutasteride Experiences

Hi guys,

im about to run a cycle of test prop (100mg eod) nothing major, and i will be running dutas throughout as i am worried about hair loss. I was just wondering what people's experience with this drug is? was it effective in preventing hair loss on cycle? how long did you run it for?

I wouldn't use it during pct because it can cause ed or libido problems in small percentage of users. I have never had either of those issues but I stop use during pct. I believe it also takes up to 90 days to be fully effective but if you are prone to mpb it will help slow the process. I have read some conflicting opinions about it. One being that it really dosent help on cycle. I have also read that it can help prevent prostate enlargement. I'm still researching this myself but it has scientific studies to back it's use without added hormones. I didn't notice any rapid increase in hairloss while using it.

I used for 1 month prior to cycle start, During the 8 week cycle,and stop during pct. The problem with this is that it needs to be used ed continuosly for it to be truely effective. Hairloss will progress as soon as you stop use.

I am guessing you are prone to MPB, and so in your opinion was it effective in preventing hair loss on cycle for you? Can i ask what your cycle was?

Sust and eq. I didn't notice any loss during, but can't make the claim that it was because of the dutast. If you are worried about then add it in. It's not that expensive. I can't give you a definative answer of it worked great or didn't work at all. I just use it as a precaution and probably will continue too

yeah ill do the same, and especially at such a modest dose (100mg eod) i think i wont have a problem..thanks for your help bro
