ephedrine while on Mirtazapine

Is it safe to use ephedrine while on Mirtazapine. Has anyone used the both together? I know this is a qusetion i should be asking my g.p but i know that he will just say that ephedrine is bad and so on. Im needing it for a bit of a energy boost for the 10hr night shifts im doing 6 days a week, not sleeping very well at all and just need a little boost. Caffeine just aint working anymore.
