    Steroid.com recommends first cycle to be "
    Testosterone (Cypionate or Enanthate) 400mgs weekly for 12 weeks.
    (optional) Dianabol 20mgs daily

    However I have /fit/ over on 4chan telling me it's stupid info. I've read the main articles on this site to educate myself on side effects, cycling and such. However, what really IS ideal for a first time cycle? Stats:

    22 yo. 5'11" 160lbs, Been on a bulk/cut yo yo for the past two years and have made little progress because I haven't been able to stick to either. When I'm on a bulk I think I'm too fat and should cut, when I'm cutting I think I look too shrimpy once I start losing weight. HOWEVER, the past two weeks I've been strong on a bulk and I've noticed significant gains, I'm staying with it for another two months before I cut. However, I'm an aesthetics fag and I have a physic in mind that seems unobtainable given my genetics and the fast I used to be fat. I have a big barrel ribcage and small shoulders (imo).

    I seriously want to get into massing up with anabolics. Help a brother out please? I have read a lot and will continue to read more on safety and everything included. I would just appreciate to hear from the horses mouth what I should be doing for a beginner mass cycle. Oh I live in the US BTW, HAWAII to be exact.

    If it means anything my current routine to achieve the body I want is a split day one:

    Morning:

    Curls 4x8
    v sits

    Evening:

    military press 2x8
    incline press 2x8
    flat bench 2x8
    front delt raises 3x8
    side delt raises 3x8
    rear delt raises 3x8
    dips 3xF
    flies 4x8
    pullovers 3x8
    tricep extentions 3x8
    shrugs



    Birdmoding, I know, but my arms, shoulders and pecs have catching up to do with my big ribcage and borderline t-rex.

    Welcome to the board and very nice first post.... nice and detailed and glad to hear you've done some research.

    I went a similar route as you.... I am 6'1 and dropped from 255lbs to 187lbs before running a real cycle. I cycled before I was at my natural potential. After I cut down naturally to 187 I should have bulked naturally to about 200 before running. The only reason I ran the cycle is I was reassured by a Vet and a hoffer on this board that either way I choose should be ok because I have the discipline to maintain an proper diet and training regiment while on cycle. Not to mention I was also 26, almost 27 at the time.

    What I learned is, you will not see the gains you truly want from the cycle when you don't have enough natural muscle. Don't get me wrong, I was very impressed with the results of my cycle but I know now it would have been much better if I spent some time putting on more muscle naturally.

    In your case I would recommend working on putting on that muscle naturally over the next 2 years.... the only reason is your age. Set a goal of about 185lbs naturally.... you should be able to do that in the next 2.5 years and at that time you will be old enough cycle and in shape to appreciate the full potential of AAS.

    That beinnger cycle is all good. What was the reasons for him/her saying it was a crap 1st cycle?
    If anything, I would suggest leaving the dianabol out of it till the 2nd time round.

    My first cycle was Test Enath @500mgs/wk. It was great. Staying under 500 should ensure minimal sides. I had no sides on 500mg.
    Pack on the natural muscle, and the more of that you have, while having low body fat, the more the aas will benefit you.

    I know this is not what you want to hear but its the truth, most on here would feel you are 3 years too young for steroids yet...BUT lets put that aside for now since taking or not taking steroids is not the main issue.

    What you need to do is to go the the diet forum and post up you diet and see what the pro's think could be changed to help you achieve your goals. Then go to the workout forum and do the same thing there. I was told to do both of those things when I came here. By the way when I came here I was a month into my first test/tren cycle ( kinda gives you an idea how dumb I was using tren in a first cycle) and was advised to stop the cycle and take the advice on diet and workout. Well I did and the month following my cycle using the diet and workout advise I recieved here I was able to gain more lean muscle mass without steroids than I did the month prior on steroids.

    Unless you have your diet, workout and sleep patterns spot on, you will never get the benefits that you should from the steroids, so take a step back and change you diet, workout and sleep patterns if needed and give it six months following your new routine and reading about steroids and PCT. Then make a desicion on taking steroids..hopefully you will decide to wait but if you don't at least you will get the most out of them and be making you decision from an informed perspective.
