    Millionth newby thread.

    Hey guys, just have a few questions that haven't been answered by reading the stickies. I am mainly looking for advice on choosing the 'right' steroid for my goals because I am currently researching many different possibilities but think I need to define what I want and then focus my research. I've read recommendations to cut to a low bf% before using gear due to a lot of potential fat gain, but also read that you can recomp on it. This is a goal for me as I am what you would call a hardgainer/ectomorph (if you buy into somatotypes) and struggle to keep mass when I cut down, so I would prefer not to have to cut bf (currently around 17-20) as it would be at the expense of what I have worked long and hard to gain naturally, hence a recomp.

    tl;dr

    Is it possible to recomp on testosterone enanthate? If so, any advice on how to go about this, ie is it mainly a diet issue, workout issue or solely a matter of how I utilize the gear? If no advice, that's fine I will research it myself as I am not here for anyone to do this shit for me; I want to be fully informed.

    If it isn't, what are some recommendations/advice for gear that could help stare me towards my recomp goals?

    Background info if it helps:
    95kg
    bf 17-20%
    training for 5 years, mostly on but with a lot of newby mistakes inbetween
    this would be my first cycle and main priorities would be recomp, retaining muscle, and personally most importantly for me is to neutralize side effects hence why I will be doing a LOT of research (I would like to not have tits, but would maybe like children one day

    i would definetely hit cardio hard in morning for at least a half hour or 600 cals.cut down to 14% to play it safe

    Not sure how tall you are or your age .
    210 lbs , training for 5 years .
    Having a high bodyfat shows lack of commitment IMO .
    AAS is no magic pill .
    Get dedicated to diet , cardio and training .

    24 (25 early jan)

    And in regards to the high bf, it is indirectly caused from personal issues due to a turbulent early 2010, it has nothing to do with my commitment to fitness and nutrition but I understand how you could jump to this conclusion.

    Just cut down naturally for a few months first. Any muscle you do lose will come back with a vengeance as soon as you start the test.
    And for a first cycle, just go with 400mg of Test E. It's solid and you shouldn't be in for any surprises.
    Get Clomid and Nolva for PCT + HCG and Aromasin for on-cycle therapy. You can hold out on the Aromasin if you like, but I would just start with 12.5mg EOD as a preventive measure (and to keep any bloat off).

    Start reading the diet section to make sure your diet is in check. Then look over many of the beginners cycles that have been posted. If you do not want to have tits then hit up the diet section.

    So are you saying that, when recomping on gear, diet is more important than the actual steroid of choice? Either way, I have been reading up on cycling diets, but as I am uncertain as to what I want to cycle I am still apprehensive to sort out a set diet for my cycle

    Also, I had considered cutting down and then just bulking, but is recomping at all possible on a test enanthate cycle bonaparte?

    Yes, but the results will me more impressive and worthwhile if you just cut first, then bulk while on AAS. This is also simpler to do.
