Ok so many years of hearing this guy say it helps and that guy saying it doesn't make a difference. I would like to hear all your opinions about spot injections increasing the specific muscle that you are injecting your gear into..

If it were true, would we all have huge asses?
agree.... I'd have a huge asss if that were true (or hip to be more accurate)
my ass is pretty huge actually. prob from squats though. and no I really dont think it matters unless u use IGF or syntherol (obviously)
It can't be true otherwise people wouldn't have lagging body parts.
Even if it does help a little bit (maybe with test base), it isn't worth the increased pain and risk of infection. Small muscles with less bloodflow (and white blood cells) can't fight off a localized infection as well as large muscles.
I almost exclusively shoot in the glutes. A few times in my delts and once in my quad. Glutes have been the best for me so far and I feel most comfortable injecting there.
I shot my pecs for the first time two weeks ago - I'd SWEAR I've seen some extra growth. Are we all sure the prevailing wisdom is that it doesn't make a difference?
I pin prop ED atm so if it is true i wouldnt notice because i alternate injections between pretty much every muscle group anyway![]()
I hope it isn't true, I'll have a big muscular ass.
I believe it can definitely strength the fascia of the muscle and promote more growth. The juice it self will not make the spot get bigger. For example, when I shoot biceps I hit them hard in the gym a few hours later. I do the same thing with quads and delts. In the long run I think this can certainly lead to more growth rather than just my pinning my glutes all the time.
That's what gave me the idea - My delts and quads - which is where I've always shot - seem to be showing more proportional growth than everything else. If you think about the AAS process, it shouldn't make any difference at all. - But there sure seem to be a lot of anecdotal claims to the contrary...
^Anecdotal claims. There's also a lot of anecdotal claims that Audrey Bitoni is my girlfriend.
I think the rumor results from confusing muscle growth with stretching and loading the muscle with oil based AAS.
I am not that big a guy, 6.1 and 197 and when I pin my delts with 2.5mls of AAS, particularly something slow to leave the depo like deca I can for sure see an increase in size in my shoulder. This has nothing to do with muscle growth from some local action of AAS on the muscle, however it would be easy to see how someone who was not knowlegable could confuse it as muscle growth from spot injections.

If there is any size increase to the specific muscle injected its from swelling/inflammation and only temporary.
