Hey guys and gals( can't forget the ladies ), I am new to the boards, but not new to weight lifting. I am 25 years old, and was wanting info on anavar. However, there seems to be conflicting info on anavar itself. In clinical studies, var has been around since the 1960s, it is used in patients to help gain weight or maintain it. Yet Anavar seems to be deemed as a, " Cutter " steroid. Anavar is weak compared to other roids. However, I have read Var is great for keeping gains( even in clinical studies ). On the other side, I have seen people say Var you can lose gains and it can cause bloating??? Never seen research on that, but then again I have never done Var....or for that matters any steroid. Wait...I did take andro for 2 weeks( when it was a prohormone lol ). I was sensitive to it.
My goals are not crazy. If I can gain 6 lbs of quality muscle in 8 weeks, I am fine with that. My situation: Well, I use to be in the gym like crazy. Then got surgery and lost good amount of muscle! That was cpl years ago. I walked away from the gym...It was to hard to go back, mentally. I use to model and stuff so that hurt. Anyway, I am backI use to train 6 days a week. Then w/ college I got tired of 6 days. I went to just 3 days a week. Focusing on bench, Deadlifts, squats, shrugs, cheating bicep curls, close grip....seen way better results. Maybe do to being 5ft.8/over training?
- I am telling you all this so you have a good backround. I am looking for advice. Now to the topicc. Would Anavar yield results that I am looking for? I don't want to lose weight, I want an increase in strength and some weight gain....Here is the other conflicting part, I was wondering about dbol? Not running var and dbol( 2 orals ), just was wondering if it would be good for me. The one thing I ran into when looking at var, is that again with conflicting reports, Var caused G.I problems. The first two problems I would want to avoid...1) G.I problems...2) Hair loss. So that's why i thought about dbol( plus Var being a cutter, maybe ). I have heard ppl making sizable gains. However, I didn't want to jump on a cycle, to gain 15 lbs, to shed 10 or water.....then jump back on a cycle....And please, I am not taking a shot at ppl who do. Maybe with proper PCT, and training some will keep most than others. However, I don't want to fall into that( losing most gains ). So, for what I am looking for...I am conflicted about anavar, and really don't know if DBOL is good or bad for me. Thanks. Also any more info would be great! Everyone has their own goals. My goals are getting quality maintained muscle( doesn't have to be 15 lbs in a cycle ), with some strength...not to much b/f loss. Avoided sides: G.I and hair loss. Again thanks....just conflicted on the reports of Var and the reviews, plus dbol. Again, any info to add would be great and the one that would be best for my goals( maybe limited goals for some ). One last thing, creatine make var better? Just a q.
P.S.I did( cpl years ago ) get a doc to prescribe Var..never took it. I could prob have it done again; huge maybe. Read above of the muscle loss.
