    Customs questions

Hey guys, has anyone ever run into this before? I ordered a package back on December 14th, and this is what comes up when checking my tracking number with USPS. Source says this is normal this time of year, but ive never waited more that 10 days for package.

Your item left ************* EMS, CHINA PEOPLES REP on December **, 2010. No further information is available for this item.

    Detailed Results:

Foreign International Dispatch, December **, 2010, *********** EMS, CHINA PEOPLES REP
    Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
    Foreign Acceptance, December **, 2010,

I cant see what u think is wrong with this, this is normal protocol for customs. When u see things like item detained for inspection, thats when you could be screwed, or if it legal where u r u have nothing to worry about.

The only reason that Im a little worried is, that like i said, it has never taken more than 10 days before. It seems strange that it doesnt show making it to the US yet, or us customs.

You prob won't see an update until it hits stateside. Right now I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Its that time of year, mail would be chaotic give it little more time.

It would be a good idea to edit out the first post. That is too much unnecessary shipping detail (city and date).

Just be a little more patient and less worried. I've waited months for a shipment to arrive in the past that claimed 2 weeks T/A times at the most. Things happen and delays are a big one of them, especially during this time of year.

This is one major reason why I don't place orders in or even near any major holidays. Plan it smart next time and order enough supplies so you can stock pile and not worry about holiday delays.

This could be cause for concern 19 days in the US is a long time, of course I would not worry, the most you get a siezure letter and like everyone just ignore it...

But in your case a month later if you get an inditement letter and your attorney tells you there is nothing to worry about then files for discovery and they got all these posts complete with dates, locations etc. and your smiling face in the avatar......well thats when it could get ugly...

Seriously quit including so much stuff in your posts, particularly your face and uneeded specifics on delivery details. Still even if the stuff was intercepted the most likely outcome is a siezure letter from customs which if you get one just ignore it...whatever you do don't post the details....
