Hello all,
I am a 54 year old male who has been lifting weights off and on most of my life. I've never competed and never really gave it much thought.
Lately; the last 3 or 4 years, age is beginning to catch up to me and my energy for lifting and results has a waned a bit. My desire is still there and I still manage to get myself to the gym to workout.
I mostly prefer concentrating on the power lifts. Proportionaly I have a stronger squat and dead then bench. I'd like to give this one last hoorah and for the first time am considering a little assistance to help keep the motivation and help reach or surpass some personal goals.
However I am completely new to this concept and liteally do not where to begin. I intend to spend some time reading through these forums in an attempt to get some knowledge base. But I need help with the basics.
Any advice/assistance is welcome.
