    Test cycle question

If I'm doing a test cycle 250mg 2 shots a week, am I gonna have to worry about taking letrozole or should I take another anti estrogen? My brother took Novadex and he didn't get any estrogen side effects. But my father's side of the family is pretty prone to gyno.

I'm 22, I weigh 165, my height is 5'9, I've been training for a few years, not too consecutive but the most I've gone without training has been only about 2-3 months and not so often, most of the time I've been going at least 3 times a week. I'm going much more consistent now and I've been going around 5 times a week for like 3 months. Idk what pct or bf% is, but my brother did a cycle of test 200mg and gained like 20 pounds of muscle and I just bought a bottle for myself. I'm trying to gain around the same.

Ok, everything you posted is setting off alarms for me. I'll try and help you out, and I'm sure there are others who will post stuff similiar to my opinion, and some maybe against it, but here goes........in my opinion, you should wait a few years before you start on any juice. For one, you are too young. There are a million threads on here that explain why it's better to wait until you are around 25 to start juicing. If you do some perusing, you should be able to understand why it is so harmful to start young. Your bf% is higher than it should be going into a cycle as well, especially if you only weigh 165. Your workout regimine sounds mediocre at best, and I would imagine your diet is not on point. On top of that it sounds like you need to do some more research overall. If you don't know what PCT (post cycle therapy) is, you really shouldn't be messing with these chemicals at all. Learn the compunds, and what they do, how they act, and how they affect you physically. All of these things are important to understand before you start messing with your hormonal balance. Just because your brother put on good weight (which I would imagine he lost most of when he was done) does not mean anything. If all the factors I listed are not in check, you will not get the results you want, you will have wasted a lot of money, and more importantly you risk causing damage to yourself. By no means am I trying to bust your balls, I just want to explain to you the things you need to know in order to start the right way. The advice you have access to on this board can be phenomenal, you just have to be prepared and up to speed in order to get it.

My brother is also 27 and he has a different body type than mine, he doesn't retain much fat. I guess those are important factors too.

Everyone has a different view on bf, and when to start, but I would recommend you get that down closer to 10 percent or so. You are already pretty light, so you don't want to lose a ton of weight, I'm sure. 12 percent may be a better goal for you. Did you get a caliper test or just the machine that you grip? If you get your diet right, you can lose fat and still keep your muscle, and actually get strong all at the same time. Right now, you still have a ton of "steroids" in you. Your test levels are high right now, and you can get the results you want, you just have to do it the right way. I can't stress enough, get your diet in check, and everything else will follow

You're young, man. Don't worry about the beach muscles right now. As you get older, you'll realize that it's more beneficial to get strong, as opposed to looking big but not have anything of substance behind that bigness. At 185, I can outlift a large majority of the people out there. Real, quality size comes with strength behind it. Build yourself a quality foundation, and then in a couple of years, if you still want to jump on the sauce, you'll appreciate the results much more.

Caliper gives me 15 and the grip machine gives me random ass numbers. I've gotten from 13 to 20 on the grip machine, it's definitely off. My diet is generally pretty lean, I get most of my protein from shakes though. I also take amino acids. I was wondering if doing creatine cycles might be a good alternative to the juice. My body type has trouble getting rid of fat, I often lose a lot of muscle every time I try cutting down, so I've stopped doing too much cutting and just stuck to a generally healthy diet to maintain the fat at 15 since I figured it was good for my weight and age.

A typical daily diet for me is:

10:30am - first meal I usually have some fruits along with amino acids and a high carb shake.
1:30pm - I have a lean turkey sandwich or ham(i clean off the fatty parts if it's ham, it depends what's available) along with low fat greek yogurt and water.
4:30 - brown rice, chicken, turkey, fish, or steak, some veggies
7:30 - protein shake with low carbs before workout
I work out from 9pm to around 10pm
10pm or 10:30 depending on when I get home I have another shot of amino acids along with the big shake of isopure 50g of protein and no fat or carbs

I usually go to sleep around 1:30AM and if I'm hungry I'll have another low carb shake and pretty much repeat this everyday.

btw I didn't mention it before but I started the test cycle this tuesday, I took my first shot, I'm not gonna do it again, I'll just keep it around for later or give it to my brother. But I hope that one shot isn't gonna affect me in any negative way.

One shot won't affect anything, you'll be fine. There are some diet gurus over in the diet forum. Get as much advice as you can, it'll be worth it.
