Even though they had a dangerous job and were under stress all the time these cops weren't ego maniacs like the ones where I live now with nothing to do. I lived next door the the chief for 2 years...I know. They brag about the crime rate being low because of how they do their policing when in fact the reason the crime rate is so low is because the people in the community are educated, family oriented, and a church going group. Not to mention the fact that the gun ownership percentage per capita is higher here than anywhere in the US.
As far cops doing anything for money.....I think you misunderstood. It's coming from the top. Its a fact that Federal and State agencies are busting more and more people than in recent years because of the economy. Things that would usually not be a big deal or that would get swept under the rug two years ago people are getting busted for now. Open you eyes and pay attention to what is going on in this country!
With that being said I have plenty of reason to wonder why something is out of the ordinary at my post office box......The reason I asked the question is because we are all here to learn from one anothers experience....
...BONAPARTE and DEC11 - just because you have not had this type of experience doesn't mean someone else on this board hasn't or someone in the future will.......relax if you can.
