trying to cut down on waste....

When I pin I always use a new syringe 1 needle to draw and another new needle to inject with. At the end of a long cycle I have a lot to dispose of. So I was wondering as long as I don't get any blood when I asperate is it safe to keep the syringe and just use new tips?

once it is opened and out of the steril package, it is no longer steril. i wouldnt reuse barrels considering they are cheap enough

Agreed # 3 even if there was no blood or other stuff after exposure to air and all the surface area present inside of the syringe the BA would not be able to do its job to keep things sterile.

...and I believe the left over oil will go rancid in the syringe?

Well if you draw in air with the cap on the needle that you draw the oil with and the cap is still on its not exposed. Then new dart to inject, after that you put on a new tip that will be the next one used to draw and leave that cap on until your next dose there is no exposure. Plus there is a lot of gear left I'm all those barrels combined after a long cycle wasted. My issue is mostly wanting to cut down the bulk of waste that comes from such a cycle.

I wouldn't recommend re-using anything that enters your tissue.

It's really not that much waste.

Just use a new pin (and barrel).

With me it is cars...so I understand. I thought about using mine as my avatar, but it is too unique to have the semi-anonimity I would like.

You wont get any crazy diseases (hiv, hepatitis, etc) because only you are using them, but you run a good risk of bacteria and fungal infections..

You and I have too things in common. I keep an R1 for the street and a Daytona 675 for the track. I would love to add Duc like that to my stable one day.

Yeah its def not worth the risk. I think having all the paraphernalia to dispose of after my last cycle got me a little paranoid.

We have a LOT in common I have an 05' R1 as well.... (full M1 exhaust, custom Ducati pearl white paint, K&N Air, blue LED lighting... too many to list). I would love a track bike! However, not sure if I could afford to repair it once a year

I saw a 1990 Ducati 906 on the classifieds this morning for 4k.... seriously considering it. Old skool!!! before the 916

Use a new barrell and pin each time... Keep it clean and you shouldn't ever have any issues!

I am a car/bike guy myself, I was using my car dragging the back bumper at the track as my avatar for a few days, then removed it. Like Johnny Vegas it’s too unique and would ruin my anonymity. I always loved Ducati’s other bikes may have better lap times but none in my opinion have the character, sound and agility of a Ducati. I have ridden a kitted out 916 and it was a freakin joy to flick around, it felt like a light 600 and had the throaty sound of a big block chevy.

NOTHING sounds like a Ducati! Nothing sounds like a V-twin race bike.... they just have a THUNDERING roar that no Japanese bike can come close to (except for the Honda RC-51... its a V-twin). They really are amazing bikes to ride. Plus... I think your dick grows a good 2" every time you ride a sport bike

If you wanna hear unique, the sound of the cf yoshi exhaust on my Triumph Daytona 675 triple track bike sounds like no other bike. I prefer it over the yoshi setup on my R1. If you ever get the chance to track that Duc go for it. You have barely experienced riding that thing until you do.

I know what you mean. I've ripped up our local canyon pretty quick and had it leaned over, but nothing like you could on a track. My local track is Miller Motorsports Park in Toole, Utah. I would LOVE to take it out for a day!! I bet that triple has a pretty unique sound! The Europeans just know how to make special bikes

Can't talk about lab names my friend. Please read the rules and edit your post. After 45 days and 100 posts.... you can PM a willing Vet and ask the same question.
P.S. - If YOU were contacted by THEM.... you're probably being scammed. Legit sources prefer to stay anonymous. Good luck

Don't chance it. Pins and barrels are very cheap to buy and no reason to risk infection.
