    Using Test E/ Deca for my 1st cycle I am up 15 lbs in 4 weeks but still need help.

    This is a repost of questions and info that I originally posted in the wrong place: Welcome board.

    1. New user first cycle
    So I have already started my first cycle. I am three weeks in and should have written before. If I am posting this in the wrong place please advise and accept my apologies.
    I am 41 years old and have been working out on and off for about 25 years. I haven't really been at it for about 6 years because I ruptured a couple disks in 2004 and went through the whole paralyzed left leg- wheel chair- phys therapy-walker-etc.
    Anyway, I had been doing only body weight exercises and keeping my weight low because it makes it easier on my back but the itch was strong enough that I finally went back to the gym. I have wanted to do a cycle my entire life and for various reasons never did. My friend/workout partner convinced me that I should start one immediately so after 2 weeks at the gym I started my first cycle. My friend has been using them for about 20 years but I am not sure he steered me right.
    I started 3 weeks ago with deca 250 twice/week test cyp200 twice/week and test e 200 twice a week. After a week and a half I stopped taking the cyp because it is crashing and I don't know how to make it homogeneous again and I don't know if I should be avoiding the fibers or purposely injecting them. I would rather not use the cyp since it is crashing. Is the test e and deca okay as a first cycle? I have enough for 10 weeks. Should I go that long? Is the dose too low? No side effects yet but do I need nolvadex or anything else? Is this low enough that I won't need PCT? What can I expect weight, size and quality? I am 6'3" and started at 167.8 at 4.7%BF dipped. Now 180 and guessing 7%. Will get checked again at end. Is any of this weight from the cycle or is it all because I stopped eating like a bird?
    Also, I have a very high metabolism and he is telling me to eat everything I can regardless of nutritional value. I am averaging 7000 cals/day but trying to avoid absolute junk like ice cream and chips. TONS of carbs and about 250-300 grams of protein/day.
    I am constantly feeling dehydrated too. Coincidence?

    I thought I did enough research over the years but he is telling me different than everything I thought I learned and he has been at it a long time.

    I am getting scared that he doesn't care what I am doing and just wants to have someone in it with him. I have a beautiful new wife and a baby on the way so if what I am doing isn't safe please tell me and I will just stop.

    Well your friend is a jackass.

    Should not of started a cycle, especially that cycle so soon after getting back in the gym.

    You are asking for injuries.

    Steroids make you stronger. But your joints and tendons dont always get as strong as fast as your muscles.
    So you can easily tear or injure something.

    Running 2 diff tests wasnt needed either. Thats alot of gear.

    Look on this site for PCT threads.

    Get clomid and nolva for your PCT and I would just start PCT asap.

    But you need to stop running the Deca 2 weeks before you stop running your Test.

    Let it clear out of your system so you can recover natural levels easier.

    Then 2 weeks after last Test shot....

    Start your PCT
    50mg Clomid a day for 4 weeks.
    20mg Nolva a day for 4 weeks.

    And slap your friend next time you see him.

    As for eating junk food... at your stats its not the end of the world. It does serve a purpose.

    But if you want to be serious and healthy... go to the diet section and browse. Learn how and what to correctly eat in order to gain muscle.

    Thank you for the advice and thanks for giving a serious answer. Frequently I try to learn something from these threads and people start trashing each other and nothing gets answered so I am happy to have someone actually help me.

    I have just a little confusion though. Are you saying I should stop the deca right now, start the pct right now and stop the test e two weeks from now?

    Will that leave me enough deca and test for a cycle once I have been going to the gym for a while? I would still have 7 weeks of deca, 5 weeks of test e and 8 weeks of test cyp. It still seems like overkill for me to do cyp and E in the same cycle and I still don't know what to think about the cyp.

    Back in the day when I had lots of friends using gear they were doing 6 week cycles. Now people are talking 10 week minimums and my "friend is coming up on week 16 with 8 weeks to go! Is 6 weeks too little?

    Do you think I should throw the test cyp that is crashing in the garbage or is it still useable/fixable?

    I would have preferred to get a very thorough 6 to 12 months under my belt again and then run the classic dianabol/deca cycle for 6 weeks because I have seen it work so many times but I can only get what I can get and he is my only source so I wanted to appease him too in order to get the stuff.

    Man, I waited so long. I just don't want to spend another 10 arduous years in the gym trying to nurse my joints along and choke down food day and night in order to look even remotely like I work out. I actually had to have scar tissue removed from my esophogus from constantly force feeding myself and accidentally throwing up all those years. I can't set my alarm to eat twice in the middle of the night and be in bed by seven. I just can't. I am too old, too busy, too tired and like my user name says, just plain beat up. At my best I was 220 with about 8% BF and I didn't really look like a body builder at all. I had friends that worked out for two years with juice and caught me. The funny thing is, it could be coincidence or changes in my body with age but I have already seen some developement that took years to show up before. Specifically my upper chest is already starting to fill in and my tris and calves are widening. Even after a decade of hard work, 65 lbs of body weight and a respectable, clean and slow incline bench of 275 my upper chest never looked like it should have. I always had that huge lower pec over hang that made me look like an ape. Now almost like magic I see some upper. Same struggle with my tris and calves. Is it the gear that is suddenly making them fill out?

    I believe my diet is on track. Although I did revisit my food log and found that my actual protein intake is hovering between 400 and 500 grams per/day. Tough on the kidneys and probably overkill but I know one of the main advantages of gear is increased nitrogen retention and utilization so maybe 4-500 isn't too much??? I added 3000 of vit c to help fend off damage.

    As far as the diet goes I am just wondering if my "friend" was right in that I should eat anything and everything while I am on. His reasoning is that while I am on I should only be concerned about bulking up and not worry about putting on body fat.

    My take on it is that I don't want excess body fat because it affords more opportunity for aromatization to estrogen. Further, I want to put on as much LEAN muscle as possible in the hopes of retaining most of it after my cycle.

    At this point it seems like the only intelligent thing he has offered is a daily reiteration of, "Be careful! The last thing you want is an injury right now. Don't try to push too much weight too soon."

    I scoured the boards and couldn't find anyone using just deca with test so I only had his experience to go on. There was some info on the combination but very little real world application and most threads went off into left field shortly after the beginning.

    If anyone has actual experience with this cycle (250 deca x2/week with 200 test E x2/week) and some idea of what I can expect I would very much like to hear from you.

    I am also hoping to hear back from dukkitdalaw for some clarification.

    Another thing I was wondering about is pinning in the shoulder instead of the glutes. I have enough problems with nerve damage from my back and don't like the risk of hitting the sciatic nerve. I have been alternating shoulders with seemingly great success although they seem very hard to penetrate and the shortest pins I have been able to get are 1.5". At my BF it is uncomfortable but doable. I was considering using my quads. Thoughts?

    I hope that people here will help me finish this cycle smartly and safely. I didn't really want to do a second one and I am a fair amount in to this one at this point. If you guys are telling me it is just plain unsafe I will stop but if the primary concern is an injury such as a tear I will continue and be as carefull as I can.


    As of this post I am 183 but my "friend" says that is from the additional cals and lifting and that it is too soon to see anything from the gear. True?
    Never gained that fast before.
