    Loss of strength between cycles

Just finished the clomid/nolva PCT from my first ever cycle a couple days ago. I cycled test prop and Var. Less than 10 days into the cycle, my strength began to explode. Now, after PCT and a short layoff from lifting thru the holidays, I am still ahead strength-wise of where I was when I started the cycle, but not by much. Some of this is due to a two week layoff I did during PCT to give some of my ailing joints a rest. They are rested now and that all feels great, but I'm just now getting my endurance up again.

Perhaps I would have still lost strength if I lifted the entire PCT, but not as much. So my question is: do you make it a goal or is it possible to reach your "cycle max strength" BEFORE you begin your 2nd cycle? I'm waiting the prescribed 4 months before my next cycle. I'd like to at least achieve my "on 1st cycle" strength level before I start my 2nd cycle. Muscle gains suffered some, but not as much as strength did. What do you think? Is it possible?

It is inevitable that you will lose some strength after you finish a cycle, thats just how it is. As far as your question goes, yes you can (during your off-cycle time) make it a goal to get your strength back up to what it was while you were on your previous cycle. It will depend on your training and diet but it is a obtainable goal imo.
