Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Joe, currently residing in NC. I am just 47 years young this month.
Played football for 11 years at the minor league level and 4 years in high school. Was always in the gym, but never indulged in any supplements as I was always strong and perfectly sized for my position (middle backer). Out of high school I played at 225-235. Today I'm 295. I am currently about 40-50lbs overweight for my current age.
I have slight high blood pressure that I take meds for, but nothing serious. Also had my prostate removed back in April of 2009 (prostate cancer). I am cancer free and healthier than a goat. I feel fantastic.
I am back in the gym and doing extremely well with my diet. Actually went to a nutritionist. It was well worth it as I had it all wrong with respect to proper daily protein and calorie intake. I have finally conquered all the brain excuses I used to make about going to the gym. My way is kind of goofy, but it is working.
I contacted a friend who is WAY more experienced at supplementation than I and asked him to set me up with a cycle that would work best for my goals. Cut down body fat and harden up my muscles while doing it. Not really interested in the whole strength thing as I'm not competing anymore. However, banging out 385 was always cool when I was young.
Would someone or a few people be comfortable with reviewing my cycle via email? My friend is a good person, but has been working out seriously for about 8 years. I think he tends to overdo things a bit. Just want to make sure I’m safe and not doing too much for my first time out of the gate. It looks a bit much...
