    Blood thickening from Test

A friend of mine told me that his anti aging doc, who is a bodybuilder, suggested that he donates blood. Doc stated that on off cycles of test for years thickens your blood and will make you feel fatigued. My friend claimed that he felt much better the next day after donating the blood. Apparently after donating, your body obviously needs to replace that blood and it is thinner. Has anyone ever heard of this? Is it worth doing? I usually get blood work about twice a year, but according to him the donation is a pint as opposed to three vials which is not enough to solve the supposed problem. I could not find anything on the forum about it. Thx

Steroids will increase your RBC so giving blood is a great way to keep your RBC under control,

yep..... I can attest to this. My fathers HRT doc has him donate blood every 3 months. I felt better the day after donating as well.

Look into Flush free Niacin..... it's supposed to help keep it from thickening.
