what would be the effect of this?
33
195lbs
bf 23% or do
400 mg of test per week
1600 cals per day
emphasis on cardio
Some lifting but not the emphasis
I understand foe me this would cause weight loss, but..
Does the test add anything to the equation? Anyone tried it?

I would say you would be losing fat along with muscle with the amount of calories you are taking in. You would lean out and get more vascular but will be losing a good amount of muscle with only 1600 calories

Also with 23% you are more prone to side effects, I would advise you to try and lower it naturally to around 15%.

DIET can accomplish so much more. Looks like your looking for a shortcut and its not going to work out the way you think it will.

Im on trt already so no matter what its not natural. I thought some extra T could help me out. Not looking for a shortcut but rather to help maintain the small mass I do have.

How tall are you??
How sure are you about your BF%?
I assume, you're upping the dose of test and focusing on fat loss while retaining as much muscle as possible, correct?

Although I agree with your idea, I think you need to slowly lower your BF naturally before using gear to hold gains while losing fat.
but.......
I hope a more experienced user can chime in, because I feel at 200mg a week of Cyp or Enth you will maintain your mass while losing fat, also at that low dose you will be less susceptible to the sides, so maybe its ok to do it with higher BF. Like I said, I can't say I am right or not..... lets hope a Vet Chimes in on this one.Last edited by Bertuzzi; 02-03-2011 at 11:27 PM.

I would up the calories a little. Even with the test your muscles still need nutrients. Up the cals and stick to eating clean and doing cardio.

In my opinion since he's on trt then the slight increase would hurt. Other than the sides being worse than the trt dose. Most people should be much leaner before using test for this reason but since he's already on it I don't see the harm. I'm in the same boat as you tho I could be wrong about this as I'm no expert. Questions like these are how we learn tho.
