Has anyone here done any research on "Fasting" ? I am aware that this is a bizarre process to inquire about on a muscle building forum, but I bring this up because of the benefits of purging the human body system. I was reading up on the benefits of fasting and how the body removes toxins during the process. I thought about all the different things that we put into our bodies, not to mention the bad foods that eat (preservatives, etc.). So, I wondered if anyone has thought of this as an option at some point.
Fasting is talked about since biblical times as a very healthy process that we should implement into our lives. I really think that it's an underated beneficial process for complete health maintenance.
