Pain in knee after quad injection?

Hey I just did my first quad injection yesterday used a 25g 1inch needle shot 1cc test eth and 1 cc eq aspiration went well and felt no pain initially didnt lift then about 8 hours later right above my knee started killin me and sweeling up nowhere near the injection site. I trained legs but after I felt this pain. What do you guys think this could be I doubt I hit a nerve cuz the pain came so long after is it just coincidence?

I think it is only a coincidence. Probabally tweaked it doing something else without even realizing it. It's only human to look back at the last thing we did to try and figure out what caused pain.

I sometimes feel some pain in the knee after a quad injection. Same goes with in the elbow after a delt injection. I never think much of it and it goes away shortly after it appears

Same thing happens to me,when I pin l little low. Pinning just about 3-4in up from the last site will stop it for me.

I've done this several times. You didn't get all the oil deep into the muscle, and some of it leaked back out and slid down between the epimysium sheath and the muscle, till it reached the end of the line at your knee, pooled there, and crashed. It's going to be swollen and hurt like a bitch for a week, but you'll be ok.
Next time, pin slower, don't move the needle around, and pick a better spot.

Yea it sucks! hurts so bad alot of swelling, The spot was about 10inchs from my knee and right off center of my quad should i go lower and more outside next time? BTW when I pinned I went straight down into my quad should I shoot more on the side with the pin angled?

Are you saying you just pinned dead center in the quad? If so you could have easily missed the muscle.

Yup almost dead center alittle over to the side I have no lumps or anything I hope not all of the gear leaked and crashed next time im gonna go much more over to the side of the leg like on spot

If you're concerned about it going to waste, don't.
Anything you inject is going to get absorbed, just slower in this case.

I thought since it crashed at my knee it wouldnt be used, well thats a relief Thanks alot for the help next time will def shoot more on the side.

MY god this pain reallllly sucks I hope it gets better soon still really swollen hurts to walk been icing it and taking some Tylenol to help with inflammation is it normal for the pain to be pretty intense? hopefully by monday im better.

Yeah, it felt like I got hit with a baseball bat. But it always cleared up completely at the 1 week point.

Hi there. Injected 1cc of test e 1 week ago and now my knee is completely swollen, so much I can't even see the knee cap. No redness, a little warm, pain in quite minimal, more so in the injection site. just a ishload of fluid around my knee. Anybody please let me know what the heck this is. Also, very clean a sterile, washed site with alcohol pads, new needle, 23g 1 1/2 inch long, aspirated and everything. WTF!?!?!?!

I've had it happen to a delt and tricep as well. Glutes are the safest, since they will hold the oil more easily.

had this happen yesterday

left quad , trained right after, about 8 hours after,no pain then BAM sore around my knee about 10 inches below site. not swollen, hot or any bruising. muscle is sore from injection site all teh way to just above my knee on teh outside.

last week my right quad same thing about 8 hours after shot... but the pain stayed right at the site of injection.

both virgin muscle as my first cycle.

the right quad i used teh 23 g 1inch all the way and yestrday i used same needle but left a 1/3 out and looking back ii injected pretty damn fast.

So if this was a leak and crash, wll it still get absorbed? it was 1ml test and 0.5 deca

You're posting on an old thread partner, but I will respond because I'm actually going through something very similar.


A) You definitely want to go the full inch into your quad, when you went 2/3in you definitely didn't get the gear into your muscle very far or at all depending on your BFC %

B) Check where you are injecting, draw a line with a sharpie from the middle of your knee cap to the top of your leg. Then draw a horizontal line dividing that first line in half. You should have 4 quadrants or equal rectangle shaped areas. You want the farthest upward and outward quadrant

My leg wasn't swollen, but im sure it was a miss. my friend who is a life time cruiser thinks that very littl will be absorbed, but doest know as hsaid he never misses.

ive had this happen to me bro and the pain and swelling lasted like 2 weeks or so but i know for shure it was because i injected to low on the quad near the knee...

Made the same mistake yesterday pretty tender hurts a little, more annoying than painfull. 2cc oil suspended wish it was something thinner so it would absorb faster cuz this is f%^#en annoying can't walk very fast. any tips for speeding up the absorbing process once one makes this mistake.
