I just stopped 5 days into an anavar cycle to get my diet under control.
I would consider myself a “super busy” person with a full-time (desk) job and a full-time graduate student (in the area of toxicology, ironically). I work 40 hours per week and spend 12 hours/week in class or lab and about 20 hours/week doing research and writing my thesis (and very little time for my girlfriend). That said, I still make time for the gym. I have exactly 1.5 hours for the gym M,T,W,F,SA mornings (which have traditionally been all cardio in the tune of 1200-1400 calories burned five days a week).
With respect to diet, I don’t eat fast food and generally only eat organic and non-processed food (which is pricey and I do understand the irony in taking steroids while being a tree hugger and is something I must reconcile at some point). I also drink protein shakes (generally 60 grams protein/three times per day). I am game for doing prep work for lunches/snacks, etc on Sundays and can even keep potatoes or other relatively non-perishable foodstuff at my desk. But I need ideas/suggestions/tricks on how to up a healthy dietary intake on a busy schedule.
I am 31, 6 foot, about 225 lb and about 24% body fat when last I was measured(see desk job). Oddly enough, I have been told by my nutritionist that I actually do not eat enough food. I come in around 1500-1700 calories/day. Again, busy guy here. Also, I get full easy and feel like puking if I force myself to eat.
As a potential contraindicator, I drink about 3-4 Starbucks Venti (20 oz) drip coffee per day and for a period of a decade I popped Hydoxycut and caffeine pills three times a day. I now apparently have “an unusually high tolerance to stimulants”. Please tell me that caffeine can stay in my diet, if only 1 or 2 20 oz drip.
Because this forum is a nightmare for navigating or finding succinct information, is there a website or book I should be reading before proceeding?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
