    Delivery/Pick Up Question

I work during the day, everyday. There is no chance I would be home to receive an online order. This means I'll have to go pick it up at the post office or ups, whatever method is used to ship. Unless I get a seizure letter posted on my door, I should be good to go and pick it up right? I mean, if it's just the usual delivery slip, I have nothing to worry about?

I haven't ordered anything yet, just trying to play it out so I am safe. Thanks for your replies.

Usually they just put it in the box or leave it at the door.
I don't do websites but I know a few who do. Only one company that I know of actually has you sign for your pack.
Stick to private sources. Better turn around, less hassle, usually better gear

Dude you are putting to much thought into this. There are all kinds of risk. You can try to plan them all out but reality is that you can't control it. You will be fine to go pick it up. If it's not worth the risk then don't order.

Don't get me wrong I feel you on customs so thats why you find a domestic.

    Cool

First time I went to the post office to pick up a package from xxxxxx I was quaking in my boots! LOL! I was sure I was about to get busted! The woman loooked at my slip and said "Location, huh"? Looked at me and went to get the package. I signed for it and left expecting to be stopped at any minute. It was a long drive home! Over the next three weeks I had three more packages to pick up and each time I was sure my number was up!

The second time I went the same day that my slip arrived and the teller looked at my slip, said "Location, huh", and went to get the package. He came back without it and told me the carrier had not returned yet and that I should come back tomorrow! And then he said "Good Luck" and I almost lost it.

But I have all my cd's and life is good!

You guys are way too ****ing paranoid. OP, look, if the police were going to arrest you, they wouldn't try to goat you in to going to the post office to make their bust. They'd get you in your house or at your place of work. If there is a seizure letter, then you're SOL, if there is a notice to pick your gear up at the post office, then you won.

A seizure letter just means I lost my money and gear. Usually there won't be legal action taken right? Especially for a small amount....

you make it sound like the company sell it direct ,99% of the times it will be reselers ,normal guys like you and me so it has nothing to do with it being a good ugl or not ,just resellers prefarence thats all.

True. But either way, good source will replace a seized order.
