Help!!

Hi I have just found steroids in my sons room while I was putting laundry away, he is nearly 20. they are Stanzolol and round pink ones. He has been working out rather a lot just recently, and I'm just really concerned. We are a very close family, and I just don't know what to do! Very worried about the possible harm he may/already have done to himself. Please can someone help me. Thanks

He is def too young to start using gear yet.
We on this board do not condone usage at such young age.
For several reasons... a persons body is still changing at that point. There are health risks. And a person at that age rarely has the maturity and level of comprehension to properly make the most of such compounds.

I would do some research of your own. There is a ton of info on here.

Sit him down, broach the subject in a manner that he doesnt feel attacked.

Understand that there is alot of peer pressure in todays society to look good and be our best.

Explain the harm that using at such an age could result in.

At his age, there is so much he can do with his body naturally, with the proper knowledge.

Diet and training are the most important aspects of bodybuilding and fitness. Steroids wont do anything without those 2 things in place first.

Find out how long and what dosage he has been using the items.

He may have to do a PCT depending on IF hes used them yet.

We can give you advice on that once you get us more info on the matter.

First: Are you certain they are real? It's actually quite common for supplement makers to copy names of real steroids for marketing purposes. You might want to make sure before you start fighting with your son. You may post up a picture to get some feedback.

I first did two cycles when i was his age, and then stopped all together once i learned of the risks. I wish i hadn't, but as stated above, the pressure to become bigger, stronger and faster in today's world makes it seem like a plausible option. I did not do any permanent damage to myself per' say, however my current test levels are lower than they should be which means that i was on the road to damaging myself for good.. a result of lower test is no it is harder to gain muscle and more importantly my sex drive is not where it should be and this HAS caused relationship problems for me in the past. all that being said winny (stanazol) is a fairly mild compound and hopefully he is not too far into his cycle.. since most winny cycles only last 6 weeks or so. The best thing you can do is research about steroids and young people and the damages it causes. He will come back at you with a mountain of evidence that it is safe for grown men to use, if not abused. And he will be right, the problem is that there is so much hormonal activity going on at his age that he can do some real damage. He needs to wait until the recommended age of 24-25 to do steroids to be out of harms way.


anyone have a link to HP's thread steroids and the young??? it would be a great resource for her to show her son. I will try to find it myself and will post the link on here.

as stated above you need to approach your son in a supportive way.. this is not weed or cocaine you found, this is something he is taking to become a better athlete.. so i encourage you to nurture those needs and not get in an argument over this.

The thing that has worried us is that the pink tabs didn't have any markings on them - so really concerned that they are counterfeit tabs - with god knows what in them. We love our son dearly, and this has totally knocked us for six! Thanks again!

I don't know what a "troll" means on here, but I'm not one, just a GENUINE concerned Mom who cares alot about her kids and who searched a lot of websites and found this to be the one with the most information about something I know nothing about. It's not BS at all!! I don't know the first thing about steroids, and figured I would research something first before asking my son about it.......... I dont think he knows what he is doing and his answer (if you ask him) will be a friend told him to do it. everybody chimed in already but I am just wondering why he is living with you at the age of 20?

THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT. He's still at home I guess because he wants to be. He has decent job, loving family and it's cheap right. A lot of his friends who aren't at Uni or College are exactly the same situation we don't see it as a big problem.

My mom would. She is ALL ABOUT finding things online, and she is big on research. She loves learning and being informed. Luckily I am 42 and don't don't have to deal with that stuff any more.

I am not taking a stand on whether this is a troll. I am happy some people gave solid advice that lines up with this forums stance on usage. What is the harm? It isn't like she is 18 and asking for advice on a cycle.
