How long is Test safe for use after seals broken

Hi,

I have 2 10ml bottles of Test, and I opened them to check they had the clear stopers at christmas. I took a dip out of one, I'm just wondering how long they will be sterile for.

a dip? never heard that used before lol.. but they should be sterile forever as far as i know, as long as you don't put anything that isn't sterile in the vial

The JCAHO recommend that multi dose vials of hormones (once opened) should be used within 3 months, this IMO is especially indicative when using a UGL product.

Yeah i was going to start a 12 week Cycle at Crimbo, but decided after 1 jab that I'd lose a few pounds first. I used 1 needle to push air in and draw the Test out and a fresh one to inject. Since then they've both been taped up in a draw in my cupboard for 2 months.

I started lifting about a year and a half ago at 14.2 stone @ 5ft 9inch, I'm now 16.2 stone, my weight steadily keeps climbing, and I even though I know I could gain very fast with Test, I don't want to waste this early growth.

It is a UGL, So if its only good for 3 months, then I better just throw this stuff out, I didn't want to use till i got down to about 17% bodyfat, I'm at 20% atm I think.

I am missing something here. We are talking about rubber septumed 10ml vials? and if so you think the little piece of metal that gets torn off the center of the vial when you remove directly or in the case of a flipcap when your remove it by pulling the plastic flipcap somehow makes a difference in how long the gear will keep? I hate to differ and I don't know who the JCHAO are but I really doubt that the metal in the center of the cap has much to do with the intergrity of the seal, particularly on a fliptop deal where the metal is penetrated by the plastic. Rather the metal rings job is to seal the rubber stopper to the vial, so pulling the seal top won't make a much difference in shelf life. Even if you take a "dip" as long as you don't use a large needle ( I always use the same size I inject with its really does not take that long to pull out the juice even with a 25g as long as the juice is warm) and you inject the correct amount of air so thier is not a vacuum then the stopper should do its job pretty well. I can understand an medical group erring on the side of caution and saying 3 months, if a med group said three then its probably fine for a year as long as a decent sized <22g needle was used. If you were really worried about it you could take a steril finger cot and place it over the top of the vial after "dipping".

so many retards chiming in.. there is Benzyl Alcohol in the solution for a reason... to kill bacteria.. it is good for as long as the expiration date is on it. If the above reasoning was true then what happens in 6 months that wouldn't happen in a week if you have to draw from that vial every week for an injection.. Please do not post unless you know what oyu are talking about.

I used a 23g 1 1/4 inch to dip from the bottle, I swabbed it first, then pushed 1 ml of air into the bottle and drew out, My concern is that the air I pushed in would contaminate the Test, due to it being 2 months since, and would be another 2 months before I was going to Cycle.

Yeah UT has to be my all time Fav FPS, right back to UT99. I did try UT3, nice Engine but bad gameplay, just not fast enough. Been playing CoD series and I know I'm gonna get stick for this but "**** it", I've been playing WoW too. I know I know, let the insults commence.

Your vial you took the dip out of will be fine as Machine said the BA will kill any contaminants that were injected with the air. The only reason I said anything about the needle size is lots of people use 18g needles and these can easily cut a plug out of a stopper causing damage to the integrity of the seal, you would still probably be fine but when someone post questions on sterility I try to err on the side of caution (plus its a good idea to get people out of the habit of using harpoons to draw with and trying to avoid all the plugs in the bottom of the bottle LOL), however saying to throw out gear thats had the flip top removed or had a needle stick after 3 months is a joke, what about guys who are on TRT and only use 100mg which is 1/2ml every week...are they supposed to throw out almost half (40%) of there test LOL

Yeah I'll keep the stuff for use in a couple months when my fats down. I've kept the same bodyfat as when I first started, I've never done cardio. Last 2 weeks I do 7 1 min runs on my tredmill first thing in the mourning before my breaky and about 9pm, Doesn't sound much, but my calves and feet ache like mad and I feel drained after. I think my poor fitness is holding me up in my lifting too. thats why I didnt continue with the cycle at crimbo.

Hey for whatever its worth, I have tried a lot of varieties of cardio for fat loss and from what I have read if you set the resistance on your treadmill (or whatever device you use) to a speed you can handle for 30 min to an hour (with 45-60 mins being ideal) you will get the most benefit.

The reason is you burn very little fat during the first 15 minutes of cardio (you mainly just burn stored sugars) compared to the next 15 so by lessening the resistance to a level you can handle at least a half hour of (even if its just a hard walk) you will burn more fat than several short bursts.

Do you know types of bacteria and pathogens Benzyl alcohol is effective against, or should a say not effective against, i would check it out before you start with the insults.

I'm sticking to the short bursts in the mourning, and doing a fast walk in the evening for 20 mins, I'm gonna need to build up my resistance to walking like this, I did 20 mins and Dang! my feet and calves were killing me.

I'm going to cut my carbs down from 320 to 250, see if that helps, maybe 320 is too much as I'm not working atm. And a sloth has a better cardio routine than me

Good to hear on the evening cardio, I had the same problem as you do, it took me 2 years to get to where I could walk 5 miles. I raced motocross as a kid and then raced bicycles from my late teens to mid twenties and work construction 26-35 so I felt I was always gonna be in good shape..then all of a sudden I was 52 and 235lbs and could not walk up a flight of stairs without getting gassed. It took me 2 years of walking every night to get to where I could do a combination of walking and jogging 5 miles which is what I currently do now at 55 for cardio. So hang in there and keep up the evening walks even though you are not doing any jogging it really does not matter that much as long as you increase your heart rate 20 beats above resting you will be burning fat and as said earlier the first 15 your body mainly burns sugar not fat so keep on with the walks and try to increase the time to 30 minutes don't worry too much about the speed.

In regard to your original question the join commision like so many not for profits has a lot of strings being pulled from above, that is to say that their rulings will be subject to drug company interests and as said if they say 3 you can be sure a year is no problem under normal circumstances. If you got you bottles rolled up in the underwear of an HIV positive street hustler well that's different...but if kept in a clean environment what kind of contaminants do you see migrating onto the stopper and in trough the needle hole? And as I said in my example many many TRT patients keep there bottles for 5-6 months after there first jab.
