    Proscar and AAS gains

    Hi all,
Could anyone tell me if taking Proscar at 1mg per day for the treatment of hair loss, is likely to affect strength and mass gains usually obtained from the use of AAS?
I'm aware of all the other potential sides from Proscar. But there are no studies I can find associated with AAS.

I have also read that one should never use Deca whilst using Proscar. Is this true? and if so, why?

    Many thanks folks.

IME, it just increased estrogen levels. Mass gains were fine, but it decreased my strength to weight ratio and possibly overall strength.

    Thanks Bonaparte,

What about the Deca issue? Is there one?

Because nandrolone normally converts rapidly to dihydronandrolone, which is actually less androgenic .
If you inhibit this process, then you are left with a much more androgenic compound.
