    Pinning

    Hit thigh for the first time we'd. Oh god the pain feels like a cramp and a pulled hamstring at the same time. Any thoughts on how to ease the pain???

    Are you talking when you inserted the needle? or pain afterward?

    When you insert the needle insert it very slowly and if you feel a pinch pull it out and try a different spot as you hit a nerve. If you are talking about pain afterward, there are all kinds of things, heat the oil to slightly above body temp, push in the plunger very slowly (60 seconds) make sure the needle is inserted at least 3/4" into the muscle, make sure you are pinning mid thigh and in the center of the vastus lateralis muscle not the edge of it or between the vastus lateralis and the rectus femoris, make sure your leg is completely relaxed. OK that's if for me...

    Thanks it was post pain. Im pretty sure I did everything right. Maybe the 1.5 needle was a mistake and I might have been tense giving I was piping my cherry.

    Do you know the right location in the quad? Also, use 1 inch for quad.

    Yeah I watched a great video on utube. 1.5 needle was definitely a mistake. Good thing I got 100. Not

    yea shoot in the glute i feel hardly any pain shooting there

    The 1.5 are the correct length for glutes so if you are one of the lucky ones who can pin your own ass or you got a girl friend to help you out you are good to go! Whenever I pin my glute I wind up working the needle in and out of my ass like a sewing machine...its not pretty.

    yea i no what you mean but i got it down now no more in and out hardest part is pushing the test throw the 25 guage for me now

    do the glute then . or just dont go in all the way . to big is always better than 2 small.

    Hit the shoulder Friday it's sore still but no as bad as the quad. Quad is still sore from we'd but slowly improving.
