Thailand Shipping
So I've done quite a bit of research. A package from Thailand being shipped to the U.S. or Australia has a very high chance of being looked at more closely and even search. I have received orders with no problems from sources in places like eastern europe, and many times they were products manufactured in Thailand. This leeds me to believe that it is much easier getting a package through Customs in countries like Bulgaria, or Romania, or Poland for examples. How likely is it that a package of only Orals will make it through customs in a Eastern European Country? Much higher chances than Thailand to U.S.?

Hey,
Romania and Bulgaria arent in Eastern Europa.
So since "there is no broad" between the member country of the European Unio theres no risk of being looked to the packages because no one check them! So its like national shipping.

Oh... that was my inner meathead typing
But I am asking about shipping a package from Thailand to somewhere in Europe like Bulgaria, Romania, or Poland. I'm not asking about shipping from one country inside europe to another country inside europe.
I want to ship something from Thailand to Europe and I'm wondering if it has greater chances of making it through in Europe compared to the U.S.Last edited by Flacco; 03-15-2011 at 03:52 PM.

When I have ordered from some of these online sites, most of the time the package originates somewhere like Romania or the Czech Republic or somewhere like that. Alot of the times, their products are Thai companies. They must be getting stuff shipped from Thailand huh? I'm asking bc I know people in Thailand, and I have a few friends spackled around europe. I'd like to hear from anyone in Europe who has shipped from Thailand successfully. Or even unsuccessfully. Thanks guys/gals

Good thread. During my tour of duty in afghanistan my military gave me 3 weeks vacation anywhere in the world. Naturally I chose cambodia and thailand . Right before my vacation ended I sent a small discreet parcel of gear back home to canada, with it being forwarded to mr out in the field in kandahar... Well the last time I ever saw it was in the post office in phuket.. Speaking of europe... Buddy of mine imports large shipments from poland via the UK. He even got one through that has huge OMNADREN writing on the label..

I guess that would explain why my packages from Thailand never arrived and the ones that were ordered later from Turkey showed up sooner than expected.

Yeah dude... I've read that U.S. customs pretty much has the right to search just about any package coming from Thailand. Even if they don't, who's gonna stop em. You can tell alot from Xraying something. And I'm sure they're trained and familiar with every compound that we're trying to get over here, as far as what it looks like and how it can be hidden. I wonder if in countries like Romania, customs even cares that much.

I don't expect to hear to many responses with the answer that I'm looking for. I'd imagine those of you who are doing it, are suppliers aka middlemen, and want to keep your secret safe

Are these items being shipped via air? If so would there be chance of success if they were sent via ship in a cargo container?

FYI. Many of these mails get inspected before dispatch. Those that get through customs are either well disguised or have "signs" on them, so the officials don't bother with it. I don't know about sending it via ship though.
Once the item is confiscated, the address of that sender will be on blacklist for 30 days so don't expect to buy from this seller within the timeframe.
This is what the customs here do the last year.

Yeah ill pay extra cash to have it stashed in a shipping container and shipped via cargo carrier. Gotta be. Better odds on getting through.

I have never had a problem with sachets, or anything for that matter. One sachet per package, I personally love getting birthday cards from overseas each one makes the day more special and the knowlege that customs doesn't xray anything as small as a card is nice.

I only want to ship orals. Where have you heard that customs doesn't xray anything as small as a card? Is that accurate? And what countries overseas have you received from? Ever get anything from thailand? What the hell can you fit into a birthday card envelope!? Help me out here

I've heard that they're checking packages going out of Thailand these days, too. Especially places like Phuket, where lots of foreigners travel.
