Adding Dbol at end of cycle

    23
    14-16%bf
    205 lbs
    5'9"
    Training hard 4 years

I am on week 8 of a 12 week 500mg/wk test cypionate, along with 250iu hcg 2x/wk and 12.5mg aromasin eod. I just came into some good dbol today and was thinking about running it for 3-4 weeks to finish off this cycle.

What do you guys think, I know that typically it is used at the beginning but I dont see any problems with this.

If so, do you think I should start now and run it until the start of week 11 or 12? Or another way? Ill probably do 40-50mg/day split up.

    Thanks for the input guys.

start at week 10-run it till 2 weeks after your last test shot (weeks 10-14)
    stop when you start pct

    good luck

Wouldn't I get more quality gains from taking this all while I am still on the test? Just what I have been wondering.

    Thanks

you will still be on the test as cypionate has about a 6-8 day half life
so if you take your last 500mg shot, in 10 days, you will still have aprox 200mgs left in you

since you cant take any more long estered roids at this point, dbol would be perfect to add in while waiting for pct to come

Right, I realize that the cypionate is going to take about 2 weeks to clear out. But my point is, wouldn't it be better to run while test levels are higher rather than while they are tapering down? I've always read that dbol gains are best when added to test, so wouldn't it make sense that they would be best with more test as opposed to less?

I was advised against doing this but will be interesting to see what people say

dont know bro, im thinking that by week 10-12, your gains from test will have subsided and a new compound(like dbol) will kickstart your gains

i was recommending the timing because you will have to wait the 10-14 days no matter what to start pct
so instead of using that time to dwindle down, you can continue to gain all the way up to the start of pct

i dont think you will miss out on much gains if any, if you started on week 10 compared to week 8

Just curious, who advised against and why did they do so?

I posted same idea on the forum, i was thinking of doing weeks 9-12 dbol but they said just run 1 compound with it being my new cycle and save the dbol for the next cycle.

but the reason you do 1 compound is so if you have any negative effects you know which compound it came from but at week 9 i thought ud be able to tell by then if any bad sides have come up.

anyways looking forward to what people have to say because if you have the all clear might do it me self

Most experienced people on here recommend one compound for your first cycle for good reasons...so I don't think you are going to get an "all clear" to do it. That being said, this is also my first *real* cycle, but I do have a couple dbol only cycles under my belt from when I was too young. So I have done this compound before, and feel fairly confident that I know how it will affect me. I'm more or less looking for advice on timing.

I realize 23 is on the young side for AAS. I'm not trying to argue with you over that, but the fact is that some of the respected steroid vets and mods on this board feel that 23 is an acceptable age to start at (provided that you do your research, which I did).

And I definitely wouldn't classify doing 4 weeks of dbol as throwing something in for the hell of it. I toyed with the idea of a dbol kickstart to this cycle, but decided against it because I wanted to gauge my reaction to the test alone and be well equipped to handle sides. Now, at this point, I have been able to do so successfully. So what is wrong with adding this now to squeeze some more gains out of a cycle, especially during a time when the gains from test will start tapering off? My diet and training are on point, I have reached what I believe is my "natural potential", and my test levels certainly are not going up (I've had blood work done multiple times).

I respect your opinion and appreciate the fact that you are trying to look out for and educate me and other members. I just do not totally agree with your assessment.
