    Any Regrets?

So while ive been doing research on here i was wondering one major thing that never seems to be talked about. Does anyone who has used gear on here have any regrets about doing it? I.E. side effects they may have had later on in life or anything for that matter. It just doesnt seem to be anything that anyone has brought up so i was curious to hear from some people who have used. Thanks for the responses guys.

Ha nice.. the main reason i ask is a family friend used probably about 10 years ago and is now having major heart problems so im kind of wondering if anyone else has seen major side effects or anything that way. He could of also just have been doing cycles wrong and we have tons of new info now so i know things have changed but just wondering other peoples thoughts now.

I honestly wish I never used them. Im on hrt now, have shoot myself every week........no matter what. Now theres no real good training unless Im on. You say you will only do it once, but after you get that feel of it theres no turning back. I used the excuse that I was going to compete....easier said then done. If competing was that easy, well there would be shit loads more people doing it. You life has to revolve around it....it is your life. I work to hard and dont have the time to do it, everytime something comes up. Once you surpress your natural hormones they are never the same. Then you get caught up, well Ill just do one a winter....but you always want more...bigger...stronger until you dont care anymore, your just a juice head. Just today I had one of my friends buddy come and ask me about it, I told him it would be the worst mistake getting started with hormones. Life changes, this life style may not be what you want to months from now but the damage is already done. Witha real good diet, training and supps you can build an incredible body without AS and the side effects (down sides).

Everything was impossible until somebody did it!

    I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

my biggest regret is not starting at a younger age. I started 2 months before my 25th birthday. Wasted time training naturally when I maxed myself out genetically at 21-22 years old. I had really low natural test so it wouldn't have mattered if I started younger.

Honestly today is the first time I am having regret, did my first cycle in sept, did pct and never really felt fully recovered.
Got bloods back today and my test levels are half what they were pre cycle 283 vs 573 so now I'm concerned they will not return to near baseline or baseline. Gonna have to run hcg and basically another pct and hope for the best knowing full well if I don't recover and do another cycle I will more than likely be on trt. I am only 40.
If your planning a cycle think long and hard and realize you may never be the same and ask yourself if you can deal with the consequences because they are real.

Ps. Good topic keep it bumped for the noob's

^^^^ i always though that you need to take multiple tests to get a true reading of your levels since the fluctuate so much during the day..

do u feel recovered.. or can you tell the difference?

Tough to answer that, I mean my erections are strong, my mood is good, libido is not crazy but it really hasn't been before ( work a lot and had a lot of stress for the last year or so) I am still suffering from atrophy hopefully the protocol I mentioned above does the trick.

I regret doing them before I had the slightest clue what I was doing in the gym. My first cycle... I was 19, I did a Deca only cycle with no PCT lol. Its only been the past few years that I'm really learning more about training technics and diet. I wish I wouldn't have wasted all that time, energy, and money. Also, by Juicing young, I developed horrible habits. For a couple years, I wasn't in the gym unless I was ON. I'm sure I'll have to deal with the consequences of starting too early one day. I'm a stubborn Fxck, who has to play with fire in order to learn I'm gonna get burned.

I was 48 when I started my first cycle. No regrets what so ever. Increased my quality of life. Made me feel better and more active in my life. I go out and play baseball with my sons. If done right, AAS is so goooood.

I can totally see the reasons for regretting AAS usage (cycles) at a young age 21-45. Those with knowlege on the boards all say to only use AAS when you have reached you natural potential, the way I see that is you would have to be eating absolutely clean and training full time for 5 or more years. How many of us can honestly say that describes our condition when we first used? From a different perspective even if that were the case, I still have my doubts whether using AAS with proper PCT for a few cycles would not be likely to cause a decrease in natural test levels. With that being the case why in the world would you want to risk suppressing your natural test at an early age if you were not at the absolute peak of natural condition and involved in some sort of athletic competition that could put food on your plate? I have said simalar things about AAS usage before and just can not imagine it being worth it unless its a career move.

That said me personally I got very lucky I started AAS at 50+ and after a couple of cycles got curious what my baseline was and talked to my doc and found out that he had tested my hormone levels prior to any AAS usage, and my baseline test was marginal. So I went ahead and jumped on TRT. Now that said I am currently blasting so perhaps this is just so much juice head BS LOL.

This is a good post, Im 34 turning 35 this june. I just did my first cycle this past Dec. Test E and var, i didnt have anysides except a fast heart rate which seems to have went back to normal as the weeks went on. Im such a vain person always worried about the way he looks, im actually immature and think im 20 years old half the time. My justification is that i waited well into my 30s to start vs some people that were in their teens and ran no pct. In all honestly thought I always have this fear in my head that I will end up dying 10 years earlier, or get some weird heart problem etc. I have have 3 kids now and I would hate for them to lose a dad early due to drug use.

I regretted it because of the acne and gyno, which I have to look at every day. I hardly used certain androgens for about 4 years, but now I'm good.

The mental addiction for me is a motherf@cker. I have an addictive personality and when I like something...I want to do it all the way. My last post cycle had me feeling like total crap. Clomid had me all depressed and experiencing mood swings like a woman. Not a waking hour went by that I didn't think about my next shot. Sex drive was non existant for two weeks. I love smacking little Johnny around and could not even wake him up. I feel great when I am amped up on the juice, we all are. However, it did cross my mind that I was better off not drinking from the golden cup. English for Marcus, I was fine before experiencing AAS. I never felt run down, depressed, mood swings, and all the crap that goes with post cycle. I love looking good , but there is a cost. Plus there is a juice monkey on my back as well. I made the choice so I will live, or die, with the consequenses. Currently I am back on cycle and loving life, but there is a looming darkness patiently waiting for me. I would have to say there is some truth in the old saying "ignorance is bliss".
