I am new to this forum and looking for some help with regards to a first cycle, and would appreciate any help I can get.
I have done weeks of research and would like to know what the ‘ideal’ first cycle,
Test E @ 250mg 2x weekly. and PCT would be.
After all the reading, most people recommend that simple Test would be the best starter
yes, but people I train with (relatively experienced users) are recommending Primo
I simply don’t know much about PRIMO other than it is expensive and supposedly not very harsh. (but also weak for an anabolic) However I don’t know if it should be ran without test or not and don’t really know what kind of gains you will get from a PRIMO only cycle. or Equipoise.
To weak I have slight male pattern baldness (receding hairline) as it runs in my family, and would definitely like to keep what’s left of my hair through this first cycle
Good luck, that is a wild card some, have prob and some don’t. There are a few products out there that are rumored to help.
Some of my background:
I have been training pretty religiously for the past 10 years, but gotten more serious in the past 4 years from the perspective that I have a good controlled diet, good training routines, and good cardio routines.
I weigh optimally around 78Kg’s (171lbs) with 15% - 17% BF. My overall physic is good, and have good definition all round.
My diet is as follows:
When gaining weight, I increase my meals to about 7 meals a day, similar to the following:
1) 07:00am - Oat and Whey meal bar (319kcal)
2) 08:00am - 66g oats with 180ml skim milk + one banana (+- 500kcal)
3) 09:30am - Meal replacement shake (350kcal)
4) 11:00am - Oat and Whey meal bar (319kcal)
5) 12:30pm - Sliced chicken breast (200g), potato, broccoli, carrots (+- 580kcal)
6) 15:00pm - Meal replacement shake (350kcal)
7) 17:30pm - Pre-workout shake – one scoop Universal Animal Torrent (110kcal)
8) 19:00pm - Post-workout shake – one scoop Universal Animal Torrent (110kcal)
9) 20:00pm - Tuna salad (two tins) (260kcal)
Total around 3000kcal’s per day.
I usually eat this way for about 6 – 10 weeks, and gain between 3 – 5 kilograms, some of which is fat (usually go up to about 20 - 22% BF).
For cutting, I reduce my meals to around 4 meals a day, cutting out the meal replacements and meal bars. So everything above except 1, 3, 4, 6.
Usually I will loose some weight, and drop back down around 80Kg’s (176lbs) with 15% - 17% BF.
I’m no diet pro, but it needs some work. Liquid Egg Whites are a great place to start.
You can use a cup of whites, cup of skim milk, and 1.5 cups of oats, let soak for 10 minutes. Add one scoop whey and blend. YUMMY! Not really, but lots of good calories. Look to possibly put Tilapia and Rice in there somewhere and start reduce the amount of replacement shakes with good foods.
I take a whole host of other supplements, at the moment I am taking the Universal Animal range, which includes the Pak, Pump, Nitro (PW), and sometimes the Test & M-Stak. This is an expensive supplement stack, and don’t know if it is very good for my body long term.
IMO most supplements are junk and I opted to use the real deal before I threw money in the crapper.
The problem I face is that I believe I am now at my natural limit
You would be surprised if you get diet right and need to do a cycle to break through and gain 3 – 5kg’s of lean muscle which I can maintain, and keep my BF down.
I have been considering the Testosterone-Cypionate for 14 weeks @ 400mg once a week.
As I stated above, I like Test E better, but C would be fine as well. And 400-500mg weekly is a good start spot. For first cycle, I would look at ending between weeks 10-12. If you start to notice gains dropping off at that time.
Can anyone advise what else I should be considering while on this course? For example, suggested medications to treat side effects (if necessary), and most importantly the PCT. If there is a book that will give me all this information that would be fine, but I believe people with similar experience would be a good starting point.
Aromasin (if I spelled it right) is a good AI with little to no Estrogen rebound and is not as harsh as letro. You have to have Nolvadex on hand for gyno symptoms as well and PCT. I also recommend HCG either throughout cycle or as part of PCT. Some will recommend clomid, but it can have some vision and emotional sides.
