If I were really worried about it I have a pull down machine in my basement with 300lbs of plates. I would remove 6 or so of the bottom plates and take them to my buddies machine shop and have him mill out a storage area inside the plates, then reinstall them. That way they would be covered with 240lbs of plates and you could make black plastic boxes to fit inside the plates so even if you used the machine you would no know other than thinking the last 60 lbs was an easy lift LOL
I wouldn't put too much faith in the burglars not finding your gear. My home got burglarized a couple years ago. So I called the police over and 6 hours later filled out the police report with the cop there. I didn't even think to look in my medicine cabinet at the time. The very next day I take my morning shower, look for my half-used deodorant stick and I kid you not, they stole a used stick of deodorant. So if they'd go through that and steal something like deodorant. I wouldn't put much faith in there being a place they wouldn't bother going to.

That's exactly why everything (all meds of any type) go into my 300lb gun safe that is bolted to the floor and wall with 6" lag bolts into the studs. If they want it they will have to work for it and get past the 8 cameras outside and 3 inside.

Its probably not the cops most of us are afraid of, but our wives finding the stash.

I keep all of my gear at work in my office locked safely away in a bag of personal belongings. No one can access my office but me.
