    online legitmacy

To sum this up, I've been lifting for quite some time and made the decision to make the leap, I went online and did some research and found several sources. My only problem is when I check the reviews they all are hit or miss on shipping and quality. Is that how all the online sources are and its just a 50/50 risk anytime you order? Or am I just not finding great sources? I'm not looking for sources (even though a nudge in the right direction would be great) I'm really just trying to find out how to get started without a bad experience.

I guess if it exists, I'll find one. Like I said if I can get a push in the right direction or have the patience of a dying man I'll get a source lol

No fishing allowed, this is not a source board and no one here is going to give you a "push in the right direction".

Can't even help a fellow vet? It's just a joke. Don't take it personal. OIF 3-4 and OIF 7-9.

Well I am using this forum as one of my references and thats one of the reasons I'm skeptical of 1 of the sources. Its legit, but possibly not reliable. I am yet to get my questions even answered.

All I will say is if the site seems too good to be true, it probably is.

We don't discuss sources here or allow fishing...

Please read the board rules before posting again....
Do not ask me for a source check.

There are a few good online sites but the other 90% are crap. Do you research and google whatever site you are considering. Try to find different reviews from as many different boards as reference before spending your hard earned cash.

You have opened yourself up to being scammed. No legitimate source will email or PM you. As far as online goes, the internet is huge and it is easy for anyone to start up a web page and claim they are selling you something. You may get it, you may not. Best advice is to find a local source or find a source someone else trusts.

Thanks guys, I guess for a rookie you have to have some learning experiences along the way. So far i've cross referenced everything I've heard of and anything that has more bad references that good I toss to the side. Any source that I've read about being a scammer, a selective scammer or just plain garbage seems to run the internet though. I like that I have the ability to google and find real people with real experiences with these so that I'm not added to the list of scammed. If anyone emails me and claims to be a source should I just ignore or should I investigate?

What you should do is accept that the only way you are going to ever get a source verified in a forum like this and follow the rules become part of the community then after 50 or more real posts and 6 months as part of the community you may send a PM to a vet or mod and recieve advice on whether a particular source is a good one or not. Continuing on the path you are on now will ensure scammers will contact you and if you do stick around here help will be hard to find.

Well one more question, everytime I try to go to a profile or really do anything it says I don't have permissions. Is there a reason for this or is it based on something I've done or haven't done?

You need 50 posts to have access to all of this....

and PS: if I were you I would change the subject asap and get off the source topic

Its not easy at the beginning but give it time and eventually it will prove worthwhile! Spend the time eating and training while you wait!

I know what you mean when it comes to online sources. I've found a few that look promising but I'm wary of sending them any money. Luckily when I first started considering my first cycle I had three different people suddenly come up and offer to get me stuff if I wanted it. Another way to go about it is to just talk to some people at the gym. I wouldn't just go up and say, "hey, can you sell me some juice?" You kind of have to ease your way into the subject and once someone is comfortable with you they'll usually confide in you whether or not they use. Once you've found that out you can start putting out the feeler for a local source.
