    Problem with T3

    Hi Everyone

First of all thank you for a great forum. I Have been reading in here for a long time and learned a lot.

Now it is my turn to post a question in here.

I am on a T3 cycle, where i progress very slowly 12.5 mcg E3D and is now on 50 mcg ED.

My problem is that i have a very sore throat. It feel like I am having a laryngitis, which i haven't had for about 15 years.

Anyone now if its anything to do with my thyroid gland and could I in some way been affecting it in a bad way?

I am not experience any sweating, high blood pressure or any of the normal side effects when on T3. Just a very sore throat and a lot mucus/spit.

The problem with the throat came the same day i started on T3

My T3 is TİROMEL - Ibrahim TR

I've noticed a slight soar throat feeling from t3, but at doses of 50-100mcg daily, never something that was so uncomfortable that it affected my daily routine

Your starting dose of 12.5mcg E3D was not very wise...you do know the body produces more than that naturally. So with you taking in 12.5mcg E3D exogenous T3 you are essentially slowing down your bodies natural metabolism. That being said looks like you are now on 50mcg ED which is a good dose...I have taken T3 once before and never had any sore throat issues (keep in mind I never went above 25mcg ED).

Guys, thank you for the posts.

So your advice is to stop asap with the T3?

I am thinking it might be a case of laryngitis somehow the T3 provoked?

I drank warm milk with honey, tea and slept with a scarf and feel much better today.

Maybe it´s better to stop the t3 cycle or see if it´s gets worse or better and then take a discison based on that?

Also I am going to the doctor tomorrow to get checked for laryngitis.

as was stated earlier you're shutting down your thyroid and repacing what it would have made normally with less. If you're going to take t3 start with minimum of 25mcg ED and pyramid your way up. I'm pretty sure t3's half life is less than 3 days so you're basically screwing yourself
