Advice for 16 year old, Baseball....
Hey I was wondering if some one could give me some advice i am currently 16 and a sophomore in highschool. Last year (my freshman year) I pitched on the varsity team and we went to state, unfornauntitly i got really sick, and could not finish the season. Well being sick i lost 30 pounds, and i was pretty much all muscle before losing all the weight. Since i have been feeling better, about time school started again I have been lifting 5 days a week, yet i am still not even close to being where I was before and my velocity on my pitching is down about 10 mph, I have tried personal trainers, and the coaches from baseball but I'm still not able to get where i need to be, and I would like to get bumped back up to the varsity team, but i would need to increase my stamina, and muscle a lot for that to happen. I have been lifting since I was 12, and me and my mom are currently looking into steroids after trying pretty much ever thing else. The reason I need to get better as getting a scholarships is my only chance of going to college.
I was wondering if any one good give me some helpful advice? Our maybe what I could look into, to help me.

I can't believe after all this time away I'm still reading posts like this.. Yea, You're 16 with your whole life ahead of you. Steroids at your age will be worst for you then not going to college.. My advice, rest the arm and do better in school if thats the "only chance of going to college".. student loans bro, everyones got them.

Steroids ... pointless for you... and actually destructive. You should show your Mom all the responses you get from this post. It will be good for her to read. No one will give you feedback to prevent you from excelling. Its the opposite actually. I pitched when I was younger... went to state and lost. I was about 6'0 and 140-150 lbs. I wasn't the fastest pitcher, and I couldn't hit the long ball for shxt, but I was good. You don't need steroids. If you want to gain some weight, work on your diet. If you want to work on your arm/pitching ability... spend a few hrs a day playing catch or throwing a ball against a wall.

What are your thoughts on SteroidAlternatives.coms Its on the home page so I'm pretty sure its legit. Would this be a better, our healthier choice if combined with weight lifting?

Practice and food... That's all you need.
BTW, your account will be suspended soon since minimum age here is 18 and minimum age to use any aas is 24+ only with a lot of diet and training experience.
You will still be allowed to read and learn, just not post. Read some of the 1000s of post on lost wood, cant get it up, lost erection, ED (erectile dysfunction) and see if it's really something you should be considering doing.
No, no and no. Many of the alternatives will also suppress your HPTA and cause you to have loss libido, no sex drive, no boners.... It's good you came here first to ask because many wait until it's to late and they have a problem. you wont hear about most problems because who is going to tell their buddies they cant get hard anymore? On a forum you dont show your face so it's easier to be honest.Last edited by lovbyts; 03-28-2011 at 08:35 AM.

don't use that site.
nobody wants to hear that they aren't ready for steroids ... but you aren't. first of all... they are EXPENSIVE... so if you're 16 and drop a couple hundred bucks on gear, AND on all your pct stuff, then good for you. but most 16 year olds cannot.
second, wait till youre in your twenties+

I will give you some advice. It comes back quick! I went from 190-170 in 3 days just from a gastro bug and I was back up to 185 in just a week after getting better. Most of it was just water, food in the belly, crap, and most likely a bit of body fat. If it is not coming back then be patient. Steroids are not your quick fix and hope to see you once again when you are of age for viewing this site. Thanks for being honest though and good luck.

Lol if you already need steroids to compete in high school, what do you think is gonna happen to you in college? My advice, devote yourself to studies because you're not going to get a scholarship.

What kind of sickness had you down for that long? If you were in the shape you say you were before, you will have muscle memory. Eat right, workout and your body will do the rest. You will get to where you were in less time then the first. Don't risk your future on AAS at your age, not to mention a potential criminal record.

I am 40 years old. I take an intramuscular injection of Testosterone once per week because my body no longer produces enough natural testosterone. This is an expensive and painful lesson from not listening to advice like you are getting here today. In my case, I was taking a pro-hormone supplement that was available at any local store (it has been banned from the market since then). It shut down my natural test production so badly that I spent the next 10 years feeling tired, gaining weight, and had ZERO sex drive. One day, my doctor suggested I get my testosterone levels checked.........
Please, Please, Please don't do this to yourself. You're too young, it will totally mess up your body chemistry at an age when it's most important! Work hard, do the best you can do, and stay clean!
