    The best books on roids.

I like to read and I like to research almost everything before I try it, steroid related or not. I've found that the internet can be great, especially when discussing roids, but it has its obvious flaws. I never know for sure who is typing and if they have even the slightest idea what they're talking about. I was hoping that you guys could recommend a few books that would break down how steroids work. I know the basics from the research I've done thus far but I want a slightly more scientific explanation. Such as what's happening on a cellular level, what gland are stimulated by certain PCT drugs etc. I've got the book Anabolic Primer which is really great but it dumbs it down just a bit too much. I've looked online and have found a few that look promising but figured I'd come here and see if anybody could recommend something.

Once again, I never know who is behind the information on the internet. This forum is a great example, I start looking for posts about a particular question I have and end up finding several posts that supposedly answer my question. The only real problem, is that the information I find often conflicts with each other. With books they usually at least cite their sources so I can check up on them and decide if it's legitimate info or not.

Once of the best books I've read so far for details regarding the A-Z of anabolics. A must read. Searching the web and sites (such as this one) for first hand information is an even better choice but the book is still a great read.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll be sure to check it out. Like I said, these forums can be very useful, but they have their limits. When I want advice from people's personal experience places like this can be great. I've just seen too much misinformation and conflicting information. I'll have one asshole saying one thing over here then another saying something different over here. That's why I want a book with cited and verified sources that is based on scientific data and not what somebody thinks they know. Then once I have a good knowledge base I will be able to better filter out the difference between when people genuinely know what they're talking about or just talking out of their ass.
