    Creatine Hydrochloride?

Anyone know anything about this supplement? I recently bought some AMP Amplified Creatine and it is in the form of Creatine Hydrochloride. Does anyone experience with it and if so did it work? Also, it says on the bottle to "take two tablets daily for a maximum of 5 years" which I personally think is some very bad directions. Each tablet contains 625 mg of Creatine Hydrochloride so right now I am taking 2 before my workout and 2 after my workout. What dosage would you suggest?

Its just creatine bonded to a salt.
Nothing special, but it might absorb a bit better than most.
And what's wrong with the 5 year directions, other than the obvious? (it's just an arbitrary number)

hahaha i'm leaning towards that perception too but I am starting to notice a little water retention so that's a sign that it could be working. all i have ever used was mono and some of that stuff works wonders so i decided to give the hydrochloride a go. do you think my dosage is too high? i'm taking double what it says on the bottle because it seemed very low to me and I am also only taking it for about a month rather than the "2 a day for 5 years" which is stupid IMO.

A classic dosing mistake with Creatine. It takes 5-6 hours for Creatine to metabolize, which is why it should not be taken before and after workout. I take mine postworkout only, as adviced by supplemental nutrition experts. There is no science behind taking Creatine before and after workout. I suggest you either take it postworkout only or take your first serving several hours before your workout, just to make sure that there is a lag of 5-6 hours between two servings.
