    Rubber Stopper Particles Floating!

There is what looks to be the bottom portion of the rubber top flaking and floating around in my bottle of gear. Is there a way to filter it out so
I can still use the contents, and has anyone seen this happen before to a bottle?

I assume you are using regular needles to draw up. The chunks of rubber are from the needle taking chunks out of the rubber topper and depositing them inside the bottle. This is known as coring. There are even smaller pieces that are almost impossible to see that can be drawn up and then injected into the muscles where they will remain indefinitely. To prevent this, draw up with a filter needle, then switch to your injecting needle to inject. This also is less painful because if you pin with the same needle you drew up with, the needle is dulled from just the rubber topper.

They are called filter needles ( a filtered draw up only needle). Generally used when drawing from glass amps to keep one from injecting glass when you pop them open.

Happened with one of my vials on my last cycle, I put it down to using an 18g needle to draw it tears up the stopper no doubt

personally I just switched to a smaller needle 29g as the rubber particle was quite big and would not get pulled into the syringe if it got near the top of the needle

as vtach said there could be also smaller pieces almost invisible to the eye

but I am skeptical to the body not been able to breakdown the plastic compound it it was coincidently injected assuming it was sterile plastic particle

a piece of plastic riddled with bacteria injected deep into any muscle would cause a serious infection!

Thanks for this help I certainly don't want a infection if it was a litttle bottle I'd chuck it, but it's 20cc's!
