What are some of the essential vitamins and supplements.......

that a person building size and fitness should take?

I have taken Fish Oil "forever" and now I am taking potassium gluconate for combating cramps. But, that's it. Can someone give some suggestions for an active 53 year old who enjoys working out and running ?? Also, I am about to start a test cycle which should put another 15 lbs on my 6 ft - 173 lbs frame

Standard multi-vitamin should be a staple in everyone's daily routine...If you're 53 and going to be running a test cycle, you might want to start taking some saw palmetto too just in case....I also take hawthorn berry.

Hmmm.... You know, I quit taking multivitamins a long time ago and started fish oil with a good diet and supplementing with Vit C, B12, and other various things like antioxidants, Vit A & E, etc. The reason I stopped the multi-vitamin was because the good ones were very expensive and I didn't get anything out of the cheap ones. I went shopping to today for vitamins and without any direction, I bought a bottle of "Biotin" (supposed to be good for skin and hair), a Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc pill, and Vitamin B-Complex. All made by Spring Valley, the Wal Mart brand. I hope rule for not naming the brand doesn't apply to vitamins too.

Wouldn't all that end up being more expensive than multivitamins?

thanks, gentlemen. I would need to do some reading to understand what all of those supplements are used for, Roman. Great list and I surely will check into them. I've been reading a lot since I got interested in steroids .
