Arimidex question?

My doctor has had me on this for almost 8months now...reason being i took test250 and came off it wrong my test levels were down to 300 estro was at about 20....Doc put me on tamoxifen to boost my levels back up...month later my test was 1300 my estro was 60...he then put me on arimidex to lower the estro...a month later got my levels checked my test was at 900 my estro was at about 40... I take one 1mg tablet of arimidex everyday and have been for like i said 8months...does this sound right? I never feel like i fully got my sex drive back and have been having a lot of hot flashes. Would it be ok to just stop taking it and let homeostasis do its thing....I will go back to my doc if i cant get help on here but i would rather save my money!

Clasic reason why we tell all 20 year olds NOT to start AAS yet but 99.999% of the time they all know better until it's to late.

Sounds like your doctor is going about it right but at some point you have to let your body take back control. it looks like the tamoxifen got your system kick started but the high test still make your estrogen out of whack. The Arimedex should have gotten that under control by now but since you are only 20 and your natural hormone levels have not stabilized until mid 20s it's confused even more.

Talk to the doctor again and continue research here. There are a lot of others who have had similar problems and can give better advice due to experience.

My doctor also recommended putting me on HCG...i just wanna stop putting stuff in my body and get it back to normal! I use to wanna f*ck everything now i am just dead....

I also forgot to mention i still have gyno after being on arimidex for so long! Shouldn't the gyno of gone away?

Uhm best thing to do is a blood exam and post it in PCT part of the forum with this story, or get the opinion of an other doc. That is specialised

Ya i find it pretty odd..i have an apt set up in may with him that we scheduled right after he first put me on this. He told me to keep taking the arimidex until the next time i see him.

I disagree. Now, an ENDO may have a reason to stay on top of research relevant to our community, but a general doctor does not.

I am 23 years old and i know by everyone heres standards i am still to young to take aas but why does everyone give people crap about taking steroids at the age of 21 when arnold and all these other pros started taken aas in their teens

alright so i cycled off the arimidex went from full pill a day to half to quarter....as of right now i have 0 sex drive and i am going to get blood work done tomorrow. My doctor will prob put me on HCG but should i take an AI and SERM along with the hcg? again i am not coming off a cycle i haven't been on a cycle for months i am just trying to get levels back to normal!

go to a specialist doc, if your present doc knew what he was doing you wouldnt be on here having to find all this out

that's the thing i am going to a male hormone specialist! unless someone in the plano/dallas area can recommend me a doctor...
