    Bloodwork for the Future

Alright, I just finished reading the educational thread "Everything you need to know about bloodwork" but I am still unsure of what I should get checked besides test/free test in terms of recreational bodybuilding. Obviously, I'm only 19 so I don't have any intention of using AAS for atleast another 6 years. However, I'd like to start doing bloodwork now either annually or bi-annually to help me monitor the changes of the biological components of my body so when I do make a decision sometime in the future, I can see how my body has changed over time.

With the above in mind, what should I get bloodwork done for besides Total Testosterone and Free Testosterone ? I remember seeing a screenshot of someones bloodwork page or something but I can't remember where I saw it.

Also I apologize if this is the wrong section, wasn't sure where else the question would fit.

Total blood work is expensive so your Doctor will determine which he can do for you. But tell him what you are wanting to monitor and maybe he can find a reason to run those tests. There are plenty of tests including cholesterol, pituitary and thyroid tests, total and free testosterone . CBC, which is a broad screening test to check for such disorders as anemia, infections, and many other diseases. It's a panel of tests that examines different parts of the blood. FSH is usually ordered which is Follical stimulating hormone test helps determine if the male sex organs are functioning properly. FSH is produced by the pituitary gland. Also there is the SBGH test, which stands for Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, and the test checks for estrogen levels in the blood. Needless to say there are quite a few tests they can run and I'm sure there are more than this so maybe someone else can chime in here. But if you go to an endocrinologist he will know the right tests to give you for what you want to track. Hopefully you have insurance as Endo's aren't cheap and neither are some of these tests.

Thankya for the info. I managed to get all the tests except for Test / Estradiol / and FSH and LH because my doctor went on maturnity leave, guess I'll have to find a backdoor approach. Also, the bloodwork is all free because I'm in Canada .
