    Does insulin tablets still work as insulin injection?

    before I ask for your stats, i'm going to ask you a question.

    if insulin tablets worked like insulin injections, then why wouldn't the whole world simply switch to tablets and avoid injections?

    probably because they don't work. Just a guess. Now you do the homework and show me I'm wrong!

    No, they do not.
    Diabetic meds (the tabs) are for type-2 diabetics (non-insulin dependent). They do not provide insulin, but help the body make better use of the little insulin that their pancreas does still secrete.
