Question about steroids & high blood pressure?
I have a friend who has been experimenting with steroids for a while now. His PCT is not the greatest from what I know and he hasn't been really using the rule "time on = time off".
He has a history of high blood pressure but recently was in ER due to his condition. I was wondering if steroids can cause high blood pressure? Also if he continues to take them along with his medication, Lisinopril (ace inhibitor) will this cause any further complications?
If anyone can help with my reasearch, thank you. All advice will be relayed to my friend.

cycling with high BP is pretty much playing russian roulette. AAS should be used by those without serious health conditions. some people control BP with meds on cycle, I myself think if that necessary then you shouldnt be cycling. JMO

All AAS have 1 or more mechanism through which they raise BP (increased hematocrit, estrogen conversion/water retention, glycogen retention, electrolyte imbalance)

Yes but if the BP is caused by something else then AAS, the medication will not be enough to low it for the AAS and the other cause, should take a break of aas and try to see if his normal Blood pressure is already high, then he'll be able to watch for medication
