I use a 22 x 3/4 for delts. I have read several dozen posts about pin size, and I think it has alot to do with body size. I am not a huge dude with bowling ball size shoulders, soft ball size yes, so the 3/4 works for me. I only use 1" on my glutes. You will get several preferences to you question I am sure.
1" is ok for delts. I would use a finer gauge like 23.Quote:

I use a 23g x 1inch for delts. Ive done one shot on my quad, used the same thing. I just much prefer delts.
26g 1/2 inch here for delts. Don't do quads anymore, they never seem to relax even when sitting down - makes for an unpleasant pinning.
Do it like a man, 18G needle.
