What did I hit?
Okay so a few days ago I was injecting in to my bi and a little red bump showed after I finished so I thought its no big deal. A few days later and it looks like this. It doesn't hurt or anything. Its look just bothers me. Is it gonna go away? Is there something I can do to make it go away faster?

Looks like simply a nasty bruise from the pic. I'd say you nicked a blood vessel during your injection.

that's what happens when you slam the needle in and push the plunger as fast as you can so the oil shoots out the end of the needle like a fire hose into your muscle causing a bruise.

Lovbyts I think your right. I had my girl do it and I told her she injected. It too fast. Is there any way to speed. The healing process?

Ice will help when it's New/fresh but if it's a day or two old use heat. After the first 48 hours to reduce pain and swelling. Heat is recommended once the blood has stopped spreading around the bruise. Heat dilates blood vessels, which will help speed the sweeping away of blood cells from around the ruptured vessels.
Many claim Arnica Gel from a nature store works pretty good.
BTW, that's not a bruise, this is a bruise.Last edited by lovbyts; 05-10-2011 at 05:32 AM.

DAMN! Don't tell me you got that from injecting too fast!
I've nailed it in and while I did suffer some nasty soreness I never saw any bruising 'cept for when I nicked something.

No it took a couple weeks to go away. It was interesting to watch it spread hour by hour and even sort of pool in my ankle area. I kept a lot of ice on it as soon as I got home, about 1hr after it happened. I also used DMSO on it a couple of times and it seemed to dissolve it more quickly and was 100% gone in 2 weeks or less.
