    AI, SERM's amd Liver

now i understand that oral aas (dbol , winny, etc) are really tough on your liver.
but i was wondering if SERM's and AI are bad for your liver (specitically the liquid ones from AR-R )?????????

if so, i suppose supplementing milk thistle (like in the instances of dbol) would suffice, right?

Oral AAS are bad for your liver because they are either 17 Alpha Alkylated or Methylated. In short this type of steroid blocks your liver from disposing of them, so they can pass through. This blocking action is what is bad for your liver.

There are studies on SERM's and AI's, long term, much longer than we use them on cycle, and MUCH higher doses, and no severe liver issues are reported.

    SERMs are hepatoxic.

My liver values were increased during PCT on Tamox/Clomid, years ago.

Thats why I now advocate doing some sort of liver PCT using Liv 52 or MK post oral use and suggest low doses for longer during PCT (one of the reasons).

    thank youswifto.

so should i supplement milk thistle during my pct or would this just be unnecessary?

btw, pct is standard clomid nolva after a test e cycle of 12weeks.

Var and Tbol are 17aas, and they aren't "...bad for your liver".

All meds tax the liver, but to varying degrees.

The primary question is one of its inherent harshness, with secondary questions in respect to your dosages, frequency and duration.

The same reasoning holds true for SERMS. As Swift indicated, they're harsh enough to alter values.

    • Do you NEED a cleanser like MT, or more aggressively a detoxifier? That depends on the condition of your liver, and/or whether or not you're experiencing hetatotoxic symptoms.

    • Should you take one of the above? They certainly won't hurt.

But with regard to your question of would it suffice? Lots of variables there, but it’ll help.
