    Test Enanthate kick in?

    Whats up everyone,

    first up stats:
    weight: 205 lbs
    height: 5' 10
    age: 28
    years training: 8
    cycle history: 1rst one

    I am between my 4th and 5th week of a 12 week cycle of Test E at 500 mg/week (split into 2 pins: mond/thu). My PCT will start 2 weeks after my last pin, I have Nolva on hand ( and thanks from advice from mods here, will be trying to get some clomid, which was highly suggested).

    My diet is around 250 grams of protein ( chicken, beef, eggs,etc.) , 300 grams of carbs (rice, bread, oats, etc) and 100 grams of fat (olive oil,natural pb, etc.)

    = 3100 cals give or take

    My training consists of day 1-Upper power
    day 2- Lower power
    day 3- rest
    day 4 - shoulder and back hypertrophy
    day 5- lower hypertrophy
    day 6- chest and arms hypertrophy
    day 7- rest

    I'm sure most of you have heard of Lyane Norton's PHAT routine, well thats what it is.

    Now for my question: halfway through my 4th week , i am definetely noticing some strength gains in my heavy compound lifts ( squat, deads, bench), and recovery and DOMS seems to have improved, but in regards to how i look and feel, im not seeing a huge difference. Maybe because this is my first cycle, and from what i've read over the years, i'm expecting too much? I was expecting a significant jump in size, and to feel like "superman" as they all say. My libido is good, but nothing out of the ordinary ( im not walking around all day with a wood). The only difference i notice in my body composition is water bloat.

    Is my diet sufficient? Or can i assume im not eating enough calories? Does this "kick-in" time normally fall in the 4th to 6th week? Am i expecting a miracle? I'm assuming my gear isn't bunk, because like i mentioned my strength has jumped up , and i highly doubt it's the placebo effect.

    ~5 weeks. You may have had your expectations a little high with just test. But it is a great and smart first cycle.

    i noticed gains roughly after 4 weeks but a good way to see the change is a photo log, if your looking in the mirror every day then its difficult to see the changes where if you have photo comparisons then the change is easily spotted.

    how much weight did you gain in the 4 weeks, you can use an ai to combat the bloat and finnaly up the cals 200-300 per day.

    what if you were taking a trt dose of 150 mg a week, would that take 4-6 to kick in too?

    OP I am in the EXACT same position as you, same time in my first cycle, just running test, libido good, kinda feel like a porn star once i get it going, but a gust of wind wont give me wood. im in week 4, and im up 6lbs and im still real lean, my bf is at 9.6%, i think we both expected to look like arnold lol, but what ive noticed is that alot of the suggestions on this forum is givin with the idea better safe than sorry. we r running a safe single compound cycle, to really give the body a dose of what may be to come, we may react terribly to the gear and wont ever do it again lol but thats why we r not just slamming compound A B and C into our bodies in our first cycle. good luck dude

    When ever you shut yourself down at any amount you are gonna need to build up exogenous test levels, so the answer is yes.

    true man, makes sense....i was tempted to throw another compound in, but wanted to do this the safe and right way. i'm basing my expectations on people i know who are taking Test E, but im sure they are also running other things, because several of them have shot up in size. Like i mentioned, strength gain definetely noticeable, so thats assuring. thanks for the reply

    Selt you self lol give it time!! Its not going to happen over night! You wont hit peak levels until around week 6 so keep training hard and eating like crazy! I feel test around week 3 but I dont really look in the mirror and say "WOW" until about week 6...things start to really move at a rapid pace from week 6-10 as long as your diet is good and you train hard.

    Photo log is GREAT advice. Over time I have gained 20 pounds of muscle and lost 15 pounds of fat, but I don't see when I look in the mirror. Then I will see an old picture of myself and say "damn, I looked like crap!" I wish now that I took monthly pics of myself.

    I know someone else already said yes, so I will just agree with him. I am on TRT and it took four weeks before I noticed libido increase. It took longer to see my body change.

    Kick in times can be confusing. even after 2 shots your T is most likely above range. after a full 6 weeks though you can be assured that, that is about as high as its gonna get. so people will notice effects earlier, its just that STRONG effects take longer cause it takes a while to build your plasma levels up to a high stable amount.

    as for TRT, i guess it would depend on a lot of factors. 1 being how low your T was to start. in general, as others pointed at, it is wise to gets bloods 6 weeks after commencing TRT, the reason is, this is when you will know truly what that dose of T will put your levels at.
