Corked leg.... Seriously where am I going wrong.

Hey guys.
Read a heap of threads and the home page "injection info" article.

Here is the senario.

I'm on hrt, so my gear is sterile/not contaminated.

I'm pinning glutes and quads, once every 10 days.

I shoot with a 1.5 inch 23g pin

I've shot 1ml in 20sec, and 1ml in 1min, no difference.

I've had the amp under my arm to get it to body temp.

I've had the amp in a heat pack for 5 min to get it really warm.

I use sterile wipes just before I pin.

I keep the needle as still as possible.

I heat and massage after pinning.

Now even after all this, I still get corked ****ing hard! So much so that I can't sleep, cant walk, can't squat. It goes on for 4 days.

What the heck am I doing wrong?

try 1" pin

I hate 1.5 pins

if injections are something that are new to you your muscles aren't used to them yet....it will fade away and be no big deal after that.

I had the same issue. I only had the issue in my Quad. I read a few people won't pin a 23g in their quad because it does so much damage to the muscle. I would just Glute it in the Middle of your upper right or upper left section.


By the 3rd pin I felt no pain the next time

Just pin glutes.

Use a thinner needle like 25g or even 27g. People say that you can't shoot oil through 27g but you can. You just have to be patient cause it takes longer. But the payoff is the smoothest pin ever.

Exactly what are u injecting? I agree with above... No need for 23g needle, something smaller

I am super anal with sterile injections. Do everything and a bit more. Perfect shots. Always use new needle after I draw and still if I hit the quad it's all over just like you described it. Just stay away from that area.
23 g when you administer on your own as it will keep the shot smooth, less movement and you can control the speed without much pressure.
Hit the arse it is a nice deep injection and will usually give you sweet injections without much fuss.

The length of the pin will make no difference IMO

If so it is simply prop pain.... I found it faded after about 4-5'weeks but I was cutting it with GSO as well...

How long have u been on hrt?

Most of the time nothing happens and sometimes for no reason a day later I have to take advel..... and I do the same thing everytime all pharm grad stuff.. but sustanon or prop kills me everytime !!! Test cyp and Test E dont..

You say you are pinning every 10 days...

How much are you pinning every ten days?

It may be easier for your body to assimalate 1/2 ml/cc and 100mg than it is for it to assimalate 1 ml/cc and 200mg.

Try pinning half as much every 5 days instead and rotate injection sites.

This probably will not be needed when pinning glutes since they generally tolerate large amounts well, you ass will let you know...

Oh almost forgot, agreed with the reply on needle length if you are going into the muscle 1.5" on the quad you are probably way deep depending on your physique. I insert my quad shots about 3/4" and when blasting pin 400mg and 2ml/cc of cyp no problem.

yea def a lil big on the needle i always use 25g 1'' for injections.
Make sure you massage the muscle belly that you inject into. Help spread it out throughout the muscle.
Add some more injection sites also.

While I agree a 25 is more comfortable than a 23 I doubt its got much to do with the problem, I always suggest to people who feel its the needle to try just sticking the pin with no AAS in their muscle and see if it hurts the next day...you won't even know where it went in.

I'm surprised no one asked but do you use a different needle to draw and then inject? Also, its been mentioned before but make sure you split the dosage into two (1/2cc every 5 days). Also, this is a personal preference but I don't do quads or glutes unless I'm having to inject multiple times per week and have to rotate and just stick to shoulders. If none of this works switch to cyp. I know it sounds stupid but enant also gives me pain for some reason whereas cyp is butter smooth.

Try taking a shower before you pin. I found that a nice warm shower right before I pin makes all the difference in the world for me. 25g 1 inch. Slides in like butter and zero pain. I have everything ready to go before I shower jump out dry off swab done.

You might just be really sensitive to the BA concentration.

why don't you try a different site?

I ve only done 2 cycles, have corked my leg multiple times on each cycle and the thing that cured it on each occasion was ketoprofen tablets.

I m not a great believer in the "virgin" muscle idea but think it's the body and it's defences reacting to a foreign substance, either the oil, the ba/bb or the steroid itself even. I think legs are particularly susceptible as the muscle is so large and dense.

Go to the doc get some tablets or inject elsewhere. Never have my delts hurt like my leg ever did.

ketoprofen i think its based on the ibuprofen substance. It is an anti-inflamatory.

Yeah it was prescription only so stronger. Went from intense pain, swollen leg, unable to walk properly and no leg training to next day being almost back to normal. Miraculous. I ve not tried normal ibuprofen.

Doses vary, i myself have in house 2 boxes that have pills with 200mg ibuprofen and one that has 400mg, all without prescription. If you read the label you might find the quantity of ibu/pill.

Nurofen, mig-400, intralgis,(there are the ones i have with me) different names, same active substance, different dosage.

Dont go crazy with NSAIDS, they interfere with protein synthesis and ur stomach.

and I also had trouble with pain. I couldnt handle sust so I switched to C and it has been better, but I still get mild pain that lasts for a few days but I am new to injections like you. I would like to try other places

Delt and pec are my preferred sites now.

Injecting in legs interfere with crucial activities like walking, cardio and leg press!

Test E has been the best for me... Sus killed me mo matter what I did.. Cyp was 90% good . But so far the Test E is the best. I just ordered 1" 26 g. For my next cycle for TREN A. Ed 75mg plus test E not sure of mg yet

I pin 1.5 mL's (750mg of Test E every tues and fri morning) I use a 1" 23G to draw and a 1" 22G to inject. I injected with a 23G once and it took forever. Plus, the smaller needle puts the oil in at a higher pressure, and that may cause tissue damage if your pushing it in too hard.

Try not massaging it.

well that's why I went with TREN A. Not E and the smaller needle because I'm pinning ed..

ive been hrt for years now and sometimes i get gear that just hurt little more than others. I only shoot every two weeks now because i really ****ed my shoulder up, but always shoot my quads. ibuprofen works great for me 600mg or 3 pills does wonders. like stated before though, you dont want to go eating them all the time because of its not the best for stomach. but once twice a week should be fine. i use 25g 1" pins to shoot and 18g to draw
